I moved to a new city, no friends, no job and one day I found your channel, I started to make the carrot cake, the banana bread and the cinnamon roll and people around me started to ask me if I can make to sell them, and now I sell a lot of baked goods and make my own money thanks to your recipes really you changed my life ❤

Thank you for this recipe - I've made it several times! Just discovered how delicious it is to leave the cake in for max time (35 min in my oven) and the cake sides get dark and deliciously caramelized.......then leave the sides un-iced, and it's amazing! That brown edge tastes fantastic. My neighbors are all getting one for Christmas. Merry Christmas, Leigh Anne!
Just made this in a 1/4 sheet pan and it turned out delicious. Also bakes faster. It only took about 10 minutes to bake. I love small batch recipes. I look forward to trying out more.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. For gluten-free, I tried using the King Arthur Measure to Measure flour, which worked beautifully. I also added 1/3 cup of raisins and unsweetened coconut. My husband loved it.
I love to watch the baking show called come sit at my table. One of the reasons I really love is is that you can also go back and copy any of the recipes he has ever made. His wife also writes the recipe down when the show is over so that you don’t have to copy it while you’re trying to watch it if that’s what you do I wish I knew how to get it because I love your show I am a new viewer and there’s only two of us and I end up giving cake and pie to the neighbors for family members because it’s always too much.

When I saw the six inch cake it reminded me of a wedding cake my mom made for a couple to take on their honeymoon. The bottom layer was a six inch cake and the top layer was a cupcake. Definitely fun.

hooray!!! I love your recipe. I finally did the cake well! However, I don't have any cinnamon or Nutmeg powder so I peeled and chopped some orange peel. I used orange shaved peel in place of cinnamon and Nutmeg powder. It tastes pretty great!!!!!!!!
New to this channel, and this one will be next to try! I might switch out 1/4 cup of the carrots for crushed pineapple as I typically have some opened in the fridge :)

And this is perfect, I most definitely will be trying this recipe with the exception of substituting the sugar, because I'm a type 2 diabetic. Substitution of Stevia/monk fruit. I think it will taste a little bit different than your original recipe. But because I'm accustomed to the stevia/monk fruit sugar substitute it will be just fine.

Yes, you can, the baking time may vary as the cake will probably be a bit thicker.
