My husband and I just visited Bristol in October from Akron, OH. We stayed at the Bristol Hotel and really enjoyed it. On a side note, when you stay at the hotel they give you free tickets to the BIrthplace of Country Music Museum! The hotel also has a great restaurant and a rooftop bar with great views of the city. Bristol is a great place to visit, baby!!

This was such a nice video.. when you and Karen were walking you have such a beautiful background of the sky turning dark and the lights of the stores it really was a nice opening and I know it wasn't planned but it was beautiful... also when you were showing the different businesses and the old buildings and the movie theater... it reminded me of the movie it's wonderful life... I like when you stopped in to have a bite to eat I also like when Karen went shopping I like the campfire and the talk also.. you make really nice videos.. there's a relaxing feeling to it all and I see places that I know I'll never visit.. so I thank you and keep safe and enjoy this time in your life... take care

We just went through Bristol last Monday, went to Sieverville for a week. We had a few days of rain, but still was able to go to the Smoky Mountains. We also got to see the Winter lights all around the area. Ate at the Old Mill a couple of times and the Local Goat a couple of times. Food was so fresh and delicious at the Local Goat, everything is home made, including the ketchup.

There is a museum for Hank Williams Jr plus his grave in Montgomery Alabama if your interested. We went a few years ago and both locations were very interesting.

Great adventure. Really liked the after hours tour of the various historical building, restaurants and signs. Makes me want to visit there. It's less than two hours from my home in Seymour TN. I'm about 23 minutes west of Pidgeon Forge off US 441 (Chapman/Henley and many other names).
