It's exhausting and mentally draining, especially when a performance is this natural. Beren did a wonderful job in making her audience feel the pain a mother feels in seeing her child dead. With some actors, you can tell it's forced, but Beren obviously let's her emotion flow to create this beautiful but heartbreaking scene.

It kosem sultan. It is all in English subtitles if you don’t understand turkish. It’s a reality of what happend in the Ottoman Empire at the time of sultan osmaan. At this time kosem was valide sultan, meaning she was the mother of a king. She was the stepmother of Osmaan but his biological mother died when he was a baby, so kosem took care of him since death of his mother. She never treated him any different than her other children. She loved him more in fact. Later when he was a teenager his dad died and he took the throne as he was the oldest son of kosem and he was a prince so he became king. A couple of months later he got misguided by a bunch of people, and they trapped him into thinking his brother was betraying him. His brother, the boy who is dead in the episode, got executed by his command. His brothers name was mehmed and he was only 15. Meh,Ed was the blood son of kosem. This is all showing the reality of the Pittman empire and how hard it was to be the mother of princes. They could all be gone in a minute. The teenage girl who is shown is kosem s biological daughter, Ayse. And the little boys are her sons. By the way the adresses name is Beren Saat. She is a brilliant actor. 10/10 acting skills.
