All those currently running this government makes me puke.
The reason some start using drugs are in charge.
We do NOT want to be the next Vancouver / drug user hotspot. So no. Keep it Criminalized. Lets learn from that previous mistake.
They won't though.
Liberals “Learning” sounds like you smoking something 😂
Toronto city council doesn't learn.
How would you fix the problem
@@christianboada475 rehabilitation or jail. Anything instead of "let the problem get worse" yknow? Crazy stuff
Repeating the same things expecting different results is the definition of insanity
❤❤❤❤❤
We are governed by the insane
Why is this even a thing, why on earth did decriminalization even become a thing and why. It's certainly not a public opinion...
It actually worked in Portugal but doesn’t seem to work here
With the right support it’s beneficial to the community and those who use drugs and are addicted. It’s like watching porn, it’s a social taboo, looked down by religion, etc. But a natural human need to masturbate, surpressing or avoiding a need makes it worse. However, being nonjudgemental towards something helps provide many many benefits.
@@alexamg6675 because Portugal actually has a foundation and model to do it and found what works in their society. Vancouver just decided let’s copy their spaghetti bridge but came with cooked spaghetti and forgot the tables the bridge connects.
Doesn't matter what way you look at it it's not working here. Put them in jail...
@@LinkedMemberthe problem is there isn’t the right support.. they offer these drugs but no help, if you want the drugs you should also want the help and to go to rehab not get the drugs and use them wherever they feel like and keep repeating this cycle
If Canadians are foolish enough to re-elect the ndp liberal government you can be sure this will come right back.
ya no keep it criminalized and stop giving addicts free drugs.
This was totally sickening that this was even put forth! Decriminalize public drug use????? Just stupid.
100% thise who did it should be a addict themselves 😮😮😮
Almost as stupid as giving drug addicts drugs...
who in right mind would ask for decriminalizing the hard drugs 😮😮😮
Keep voting liberal folks . You will get what you want
Honestly, there are pros and cons no matter who gets voted in every time! 2 wings on the same bird! All these politicians cannot be trusted!
@@johnnyDs82 Bingo! And it goes far deeper than that.
@@jayperez3431 share your knowledge 🧐
Their policies destroy counties.
Canada needs to do the Portugal model, not the Uber laissez faire half assed ancap like model Canada did that was designed to fail and was too extreme. Portugal had success cause they send addicts to rehab and still weren’t so laissez faire despite their decrim.
Lets not forget Portugal has less than a quarter of Canada's population, have you seen Portugal lately? I don't know if I would hold them up as any kind of example for Canada to emulate.
Myth. Portugal is rethinking the whole policy as use has risen from 7.8 to 12.8 . Crime has also spiked by 14%. This sadly doesn't work either. As for the number of users, going for rehab has sharply reduced.
I'm shocked! It was going so well in Vancouver.
The pressure from the Conservatives helped with rejecting requests to decriminalization.
I lost all respect for TO when they elected a derp like Chow. By all means, turn your city into Hastings St.
Toronto is getting worse by the minute! Even this news is not going to help!
@@annetoronto5474you're probably right. But at least we have a chance to tackle the problem. Decriminalization will screw everything up. I used to be all for the legalization of marijuana but I think I was a fool about that
Why not drinking and driving??
OMG no free fentanyl!
Ummm wtf? They smoke whatever here in public anyways. But decriminalization. Hell no!
who in Toronto asked for this? I really would like to know? Mayor Chow?
The public doesn’t want this.
Legal pot needs to be the same as booze, you're not to use out in public, common sense is to be used. Same laws clearly 🙄.
🤡
Maybe if drug dealers and drug traffickers would get convicted the way they're supposed to be, jail not bail. Wtf is this PM thinking. He really needs to go and he needs to go right now
Thank you Pollievre, who made sure there was a lot of attention on this. 🙏💪
From my understanding Ford made an announcement telling the Fed's Toronto does not want drugs decriminalized.
Finally, some common sense...
Why is this even an issue??? Drugs are drugs....
what??!! decriminalize drug use..WTH! This is so sickening.. what happened to Toronto 😢
AXE THE FACTS sounds like liberals are saying don't believe the truth that comes from Pierre Poilievre .
Criminalizing hard drugs is the status quo, which precipitated the opioid crisis. Other provinces that criminalize addicts also have issues with addiction and overdoses, like Alberta and Saskatchewan
Liberals are in a fantasy land
Wow what different out come are they hoping for that British Columbia hasn't proven false already.
JT and SING NEED TO GO!❤
I get that we want to be an open society - but decriminalizing drug use is completely stupid. We DO NOT want to be the next Vancouver. Thank you Feds. In fact STOP giving addicts free drugs - that IS totally stupid as well.
I suppose that this is a win for common Canadians and conservative.
So Ppl can Do Drugs infront of children in public spaces ....but Smoking a Cigarette is forbidden?!?!??!!?
WTLF!?!??!
This is great news. At least for time being drugs won't completely take over the city like they have others that have gone with this approach
Plain bad idea to decriminalize drugs. Total safety concern to children and safety of everyone for that matter. Are they insane for even putting this forward and wasting time 😲
Jagmeet brother said something quite interesting that should keep him off this front bench “for the ndp for what ‘we are going to’.. what the ‘ndp’ are going to want to see” he’s not in the party he is just a lobbyist handler for the ndp
They stick together
Thank You Pierre Pollievre.
A shame we already lost so many to inform this, only to be done for polling, eh?
What on earth?
CRIMINALIZE ALL DRUGS. RIGHT TO JAIL.
Seriously, WTF, they need counseling, not more drugs,
Powers to be, need to go asap
Prime Minister needs to resign
Creating a hard drug crisis for our youth.
Sing brother is METROS LOBBYIST
The Feds don’t want to look any worse than they already do even though they are totally in favour of this! So they will say look we did the right thing (for now)! Do not forget who they are.
It’s Axe the tax, build the homes, fix the budget and stop the crime.
Didn't work in BC but Chow knows better? ENDP
Hay Sigh hou goes the lobeing for your brother
Dog Chow is not digestible !
im ashamed to be canadian ngl
Worst idea ever. Enabling to siphon tax money. These programs DONT work
Pierre for pm
Thanks Pierre for getting the feds to 360 on that nonsense I lost my friend from fentanyl someone spiked something
Why is there a Metro lobbyist on the panel? lol
i didnt know tom green was also a reporter
Why does parliament get such a long summer break? Hopefully ministers go to their ridings and work with their constituency . The liberals will push climate change, womens rights and the alphabet groups especially with pride season coming soon.
Well no doubt. Imagine if drugs were decriminalized.
Big heroes huh
Oh no, now the drug user will continue to use in public. You know criminals always follow the law 😂
Criminal Charge to whom Using Drugs in public. ❤
The Feds want to cause as much harm as possible.
Send India home !
Never vote for NDP
🤮🤮🤮
Vote these drug dealers out..we are sick of it..maybe they should try the product to see if it is ok to take..o!
this was the right decision from Ottawa
Liberals finally listened to the Conservatives
Honestly, we need to recriminalize weed.
Everywhere a weed shop pops up, the area turns into a shithole.
It's insane that they want to decriminalize hard drug use.
Imagine how bad areas are going to get when it becomes legal to smoke crack on the sidewalk.
CAN YOU STOP THE FLOW OF DRUGS? (ANSWER: NO)
CAN YOU STOP DRUG USERS FROM USING? (ANSWER: NO)
CAN YOU DECRIMINALIZE DRUG USE AND STOP SENDING ADDICTS TO JAIL?
(ANSWER: YES)
CAN YOU TAX OTHER DRUGS THE WAY WE DO MARIJUANA (ANSWER: YES)
I fast forward singh's brother.. just too much blah word salad
Decriminalization of ketamine
0:57 , YouRaSlave, put the balm on DOUG
How can Singh say that the drug problem is just a health problem-it’s way more than that. It’s also definitely a criminal problem as a drug dealers are involved in it as well.
Decriminalizing hard drugs will just make more addicts and cause more deaths, I don't understand why anyone would want to decriminalize it. It's illegal here still and I'm scared to use the public transit system, it's dangerous enough already with all the addicts out there. I feel sorry for BC, what about the rights of the person in a hospital bed next to a person smoking meth? How can that be legal? Aren't the laws to keep EVERYONE safe from harm?
Sihng just sucks on camera now eh...like nice book report bud we know you didn't read the book lol
Drugs should be legal and regulated but public outdoor use should be illegal just like alcohol is.
🤣🤣🤣
HAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Yeah, I'm going to go through the trouble of raising a child just so I can constantly rush it past your typical Canadian voter and taxpayer.
