The fact that the Chanel bronzer has been around for YEARS and they still have not expanded the shade range...embarrassing 🥴
Yes that is such a shame... They changed the formula too recently which would have been an excellent opportunity to expand the shade range. But instead they made the shade they had lighter and slightly more yellow, (making it now the orange you saw here)... Also the new formula is nowhere near the excellence of the old versions... The new one is coconut based. And it melts anything it touches so it will move foundation and aids to dissolve it during the day almost like a cleansing balm, (that usually also is formulated with a lot of coco nut oil... )
I find high end brands don't typically have an expansive shade range. They tailor to their main demographic and that's it. Not saying any of this is okay.

unfortunate that many companies, who seem so focused on raking in the cash also don’t think about the money they are losing out on by not expanding to a diverse range

Can you do a one and done eyeshadow video?? Those are my favs! I’d love to see what you’d recommend. Also a battle of the lightweight glowy tinted moisturizers and foundations.

****Just a tip for the rare beauty liquid blush... dot the product on the back of your hand instead of applying it directly to your face. Then take a brush like the Fenty 125 and tap it into the product while ensuring the brush is evenly saturated. Apply to face. Literally the best way to apply this product and it applies beautifully 😍 hope this helps!****
I apply the blush in the same way! Works like a charm!
I apply mine directly to my face and I have never had a problem! However, I use a stipple brush. I have noticed people who have trouble with it always use a dense brush. Maybe try a stipple brush too!!

I do something similar - i wipe off the excess on the side of the inside of the tube (if that makes sense) and dab just a TINY bit onto my finger and apply it with my finger:) its gorgeous and blends beautifully

I’m very fair with more of a cool/neutral undertone and the Charlotte Tilbury contour wand is amazing! It’s my favorite and most used bronzer by far
Love these type of videos, Jamie! It was so helpful to see you applying them, so I appreciate you goin that extra mile! I have too many cream cheek products lol but my favorite right now is one I never see talked about: the ELF active workout ready lip&cheek palette! I mix all the shades together or focus on one or two and oh my gosh everything about it is perfection! I’m not sure how easy or difficult it is for you to get elf products in Canada, but if you’re able to snag it, I recommend!!

I feel as though the rare beauty liquid blush you choose (the color) would be great for those of POC. I practice on my husband with techniques (he’s half black/white) and that color looks amazing on his skin tone. And I use a stippling brush to apply it! Hope that helps for anyone who may have a darker skin tone!

I use the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick in sable as a cream bronzer. It’s sheer enough that it blends seamlessly yet still buildable enough to be an amazing bronzer! Thought I was the only weirdo out there using foundation for my bronzer. Love you hair today!

My current FAVOURITE cream bronzer is the sol body bronzing balm - so good and so AFFORDABLE 👌🏽✨ can’t wait to see yours!!!
I saw when they came out with that but literally never saw a single review on it so I assumed it was no good. Also it was a labeled as a body bronzer so I was iffy about that. How does it compare to the fenty bronzer or any of the other common cream bronzers?

Please try SOL Face & Body Bronzing Balm! Really enjoy this, it's probably similar to the Tarte! Also the Stila Tinted Moisturizer Balm!! Heard it's great as bronzer too.
With the Rare beauty blushes I really love using a beauty blender to apply. Since they are super pigmented I dab a drop on the back of my hand then use my beauty blender to pick up some product and lightly apply it to my cheeks. Since beauty blenders do absorb most product it helps with this specific blush formula bc I’m not looking like a clown overdoing it with the blush. 💖

I LOVE using the Cover FX in a deeper shade as a bronzer. I'm an olive toned girl so bronzers that match my summer tan are impossible to find. I've found that in the winter, I can use the G60+ to add a realistic tan. In the summer, I go with Fenty's Teddy bronzer.

I’d love to see a comparison with the Stila cream blushes! I’ve seen a lot of talk about the shade Lillium and it just looks beautiful.

i highly recommend the colourpop sol bronzing balms! i don’t absolutely know how they fair to the chanel (i could never use that bronzer shade in a million years and the universal claim is utter bs lmao) but the shade range is miles better, the packaging is adorable, it has such a light but pretty smell to it, the actual product itself is so versatile and can be a full on summer bronze or a natural bronzy glow. overall i HIGHLY recommend them and the price comparison is amazing especially with how much product you get 🤍
