Guys, she doesn't want you to all be horrible, she is a good rider! Everybody falls. It was just a misunderstanding of when the horse was going to jump.
I can also say that I fell off my horse cantering exactly like you did. The reason being I didn't sit back. I also fell the same way as you so that proves a point. All I would say is sit back for more control.
Okay, I do not want to sound rude, but, Your horse is fine it is your riding instructor. Also, try and give you reins over the fence, that was why your horse was dropping the fences. I had the same problem, over exadurate over the fence, pretend it is a 1.20m oxer :). You don't have to follow my advise, i am just trying to help ;) Well ridden though, you are actually a very good rider :) xoxo
I think you have a few technique issues, but are still fixable, and you're still a good rider. I'd focus on keeping your hands more centered and giving more rein over jumps as well as sitting back. You ride very very forward, and settling into your saddle a bit more will definitely help you stay on.
I thought she did we maintaining speed , yes I definitely agree with not bumping their mouth and giving rein over the jump but I think some comments are harsh . Not everyone jumps the same and not all horses respond the same way . Some times it's necessary To use a crop just because you have changes the way some horses are . And instructors all teach different ways, if they sugar coat things and aren't picky you aren't going to learn and be the best you can be.
@@lonelysweat the rider did nothing wrong. You are so rude. Wishing injury upon a damn CHILD. How extremely immature you are. Don't be bitch. Nobody deserves to fall off when they did nothing wrong.
your a really good rider! even when we rider make mistakes it means u r becoming a better rider because you are learning from your mistakes. good luck!!!
Awful trainer! You rarely ever want to kick your horse. You will be surprised that you will get more speed by squeezing with your heels not going straight to kicking or cropping!
Okay I'm not trying to hate or anything but your trainer should have removed the last jump, because when your horse finished jumping the 2nd to last jump he landed on the knocked down pole, that's why he tripped and why you fell off :(
Any trainer that tells you to kick your horse hard is a bad bad bad trainer. Hopefully you found someone new and have learned from a better role model than this
SlyOctopus well some kids just nudge their horse like literally just touch the horse with their heel and the actual hard kick for them is a regular kick not in this case but we don’t use spurs and a “hard kick” to those kids is a regular kick which isn’t really a kick. It’s not that way in this case but it’s not always a bad trainer just some beginner don’t want to hurt the horse or don’t know.
SlyOctopus not always, I ride a thoroughbred and he never wants to listen to me, so I have to kick him a little hardener than many others horses I’ve ridden

Your a great rider
And we are all still learning
omg your trainer busted my eardrums! She's mean I would hate to have a trainer like that! Your too good for it!

Good riding, just a little bad luck.
I agree with what others have said - find a new instructor and all will be well! Good luck!

That is one terrible trainer! My riding instructor would never be this harsh! I would change trainers if I were you. Poor horse :(
