- Hey Friends:)
One of the ways of how to fix your sticky and stiff power seat switches is to take them apart, clean them, lube them up and reassemble everything :)
This video will help you a lot!
Don't be afraid, you can do it. Just be patient!
ATTENTION: This method will work on early style power seat switches that don't have a green circuit board. Later style switches that have the circuit board cannot be disassembled the same way as these ones in the video.
We MUST SAVE CLASSIC CARS. Because soon we won't have any left.. And they don't make them like they used to!!!
Get some sandwiches and Enjoy The Video! And share it please:)

Using a pencil eraser on the corrosion of metal parts works wonders for getting electrical parts clean.

Great video. Thanks!
Thanks..
Wow such detail my windows stoped working a month ago at a car an coffee now wormer weather at a coffee shop yesterday thay work now ,
Mercedes sometimes loves to fix itself :)
make sure that grease you used is compatible with plastic and do not accelerate its deterioration
It’s all good man. I’ve done it thousands of times
@VITO'S GARAGE petroleum based grease is not best choice for plastic in long term you should use lithium or silicone grease cause it does nor react with polymers in plastic parts
@@michalmuszynski6942 petroleum is bad for the rubber. It won’t do anything to the plastic. You probably watched too many other channels and haven’t tried it yourself. You want to put a wheel bearing grease in there or it’ll dry out again in a few years and your switches are gonna be hard
Hey Vito I’ve a w211 E320 wagon and I’m looking for a reliable source to get the electrical schematics. What’s your best option? A lot of bogus out there who force you to buy and you’ll find them to be outdated.
Hello sir. ALLDATA.com is a great website for all the factory information, parts and electrical schematics. You have to pay monthly membership but you can also just download all the schematics and then end the membership
@@VITOSGARAGE thanks mate.
I wonder about the grease. Video looked like petroleum base. Would synthetic silicone grease be better for plastic parts?
Plastic parts don’t care what grease you use. I used bearing grease. It’ll stay there forever. Silicone should be fine too
What did you spray the contacts with?
Are you talking about that grease?
@@VITOSGARAGE Uh.. whatever was in the spray can.
Do you sell them for a 1987 190e 2.3-16?
I don’t have any for sale now
