Its one heck of a pack. This is the only pack ever issued for the US military which has conventional features of alpine style pack. I got two of em cause I love it so much. But dont be afraid to modify your pack. As time goes by you will notice you never use this or that like straps or could replace buckles or cut off material you dont really need. For poor guys out there like me cant really afford to be ripped off by spending 400-600 bucks on a pack like Mystery Ranch but wanna enjoy outdoors, its the best choice in my opinion.
Park James you’re right!!! I love this pack and you can’t beat it. I would like to try the FLBE pack that is currently used. The price is too high right now for me. I don’t think I’ll modify anything on it. I always seem to find a purpose of every single strap on it and may add an addition strap or two. Glad you watched the video. Gods speed to ya Brother. @@chink231cpd yeah, its your own pack and you can do whatever you want. I got FILBE main pack and assault pack. They are great. But on the main pack, ILBE is better for carrying heavy weight comfortably.
Excellent video!! As i was watching i said the majority of what you take and have, i have the same. Also your assault pack is ATTACHED to your ilbe. I see so many that is one or the other but not both. I do have the 4 piece MSS sleep system with a different inflatable pad but i do have the sunshield. I do have a hammock system but right now i have the TCOP Tent. I could go on and on but wont. Keep up great work. Look forward to a video with the packs on a outing if ya make one

Yes Sir, It is a comfortable pack. Although on long hikes the thick waist belt will rub your sides a bit but still one of the best packs out there.
