this really suits the main point of the x-men story because; they are different ,and want to know what makes them as well as the others like them that way. There's problems because not only do they not fit with what is considered normal but also form factions among themselves about how to use their "differences". They want answers and the peace and acceptance that comes with knowing even just a bit about themselves in addition to having control over their powers. This does that exceedingly well.
They are normal, infact there is no thing as " normal ". Also they don't " Want To Know What Makes Them As Well As The Others Like Them That Way ", there are no " Problems " with them. They do " Fit With What Is Considered Normal ". They don't need or " Want Answers " and they don't need or want to " Knowing Even Just A Bit About Themselves ". They're mutants and they were born that way. They know it and everyone knows it.
I know this was posted 9 years ago but I can't help but comment how much I love this. This song is just the perfect fit for the x men and the way you edited with the clips you used is just superb. Very nicely done.
Every single time I listened to it it's like I discover the clip for the first time. Really love what you did. Great job. I can't stop watching your work of art.
the song strangers like it is form a old school TV show strangers like me i had seeing it back then too, i like it into the x men , 😎🤠🤓🧐🥷🦸🦸♂🦸♀🦹🦹♂🦹♀🧙🧙♂🧙♀🧚♂🧚🧚♀
I absolutely LOVE this video. I've been watching it several times a day for the past three days or so. I absolute love X-Men, and I often feel like I can't really articulate to non-fans just what is so wonderful about it, but this video illustrates that so clearly - this is why I love X-Men; "There's something familiar about these strangers like me". :D I really appreciate how you have incorporated ALL the X-Men movies into this.
I don't know why but almost every disney song makes me feel free somehow, but on the other side makes me wanna cry and I don't know why. And I completly fell in love with this, i love how perfectly fitting is 0.41 and the pure joy on Charles' face. Totally love it
I love this song and I love the new X-Men movies, but I had to break out laughing as I watched this video. I can't get Tarzan out of my mind when listening to this song. An amazing video, thought. :)
Wow. This is a very good song for the X-Men world, and you portrayed that beautifully here. I salute you!! If I had to complain about one thing, was that there was a lack of Nightcrawler, but that's just me lol :P Still wonderful job!
Yay been trying to re find this video mega thx for the upload didn't get to say that in 2013 when I first viewed your video because I didn't have a channel at the time. Oh also fantastic video, Molto bene! Keep up the great work. -Allons-y!
Best X-men vid! Although, as a geek girl from X-men comics, I disagree with the "liberties" they took in the movies, this vid is terrific and shows how far humanity is in accepting strange people! Thanks for making it and sharing it!
Thanks! Looking back, I wished I used a little less of XMFC and more of the other 4, but that was the freshest in my mind at the time. I'm glad you like it!
I just noticed something, at 0:46 if you look to the left there is a boy with greyish hair. I don't know about you but he kind of looks like Peter Maximoff. AKA Quicksilver
@WhatsHerName01 You know that point when you are so obsessed with something that EVERYTHING becomes about it? This is what happens when that period of time coincides with Tarzan soundtrack coming up on shuffle. Thank you for your compliments! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I'm not just crazy.
It's been a while since I made this, so I'm not 100% sure exactly which movie they're from. I'm certain it's one of the original trilogy, probably 1 or 2. They are part of Xavier's school, that's all I remember for sure.
Kaysee Lauss its from x3. They are in the classroom scene where kitty quotes albert einstein. By the way gambit and marrow were supposed to be in x2. They were originally part of the scene that showed the effects of strikers cerebro on mutants. I had a bound copy of the script and it mentioned them but not by name.

Ten years later and the visual / music beat matches in this video STILL give me shivers!

Disney and X men together. Epic! Loved it!!
The Disney theme for the entire franchise. Period.
But then again, another Phil Collins Disney song works, too: "Welcome" from the "Brother Bear" soundtrack.
Every single time I listened to it it's like I discover the clip for the first time. Really love what you did. Great job. I can't stop watching your work of art.
I can't believe I never thought of this song whenever I watched an X-Men movie. Now it seems completely obvious.
the song strangers like it is form a old school TV show strangers like me i had seeing it back then too, i like it into the x men , 😎🤠🤓🧐🥷🦸🦸♂🦸♀🦹🦹♂🦹♀🧙🧙♂🧙♀🧚♂🧚🧚♀
This is fantastic! I especially liked the part where it goes back and forth between Kurt and Azazel teleporting, that was cool.
Several years later and it STILL leaves me crying!
This is so awesome! This is like one of the only well-done X-men Tributes! I love it so much!

This is the perfect song to put with mutants.
I never was a fan of putting disney songs and something different together. But this is awesome! I just cant stop listening to it. Great work!
You know you've made something awesome when you've nearly got 6,000 views and ZERO dislikes! Well done, dude!
Its so fitting!
This fits so well.
From one editor to another, well done!
How does this have any dislikes. It's perfect man.
Tarzan + Marvel OMG. Never thought how perfect this song is for mutants til now!
I love the X-Men and this song. It actually fits X-Men better than Tarzan. As an outcast, I relate to Strangers Like Me a lot.
Really great video and amazing editing
The high-kicks of this are everything.
Very nice! As a fan of the X-Men & Phil, I couldn't be prouder!
When I first saw this video, IT MOVED ME TO TEARS!
Such a fitting song
I love this song and I love the new X-Men movies, but I had to break out laughing as I watched this video. I can't get Tarzan out of my mind when listening to this song.

I just noticed something, at 0:46 if you look to the left there is a boy with greyish hair. I don't know about you but he kind of looks like Peter Maximoff. AKA Quicksilver
AMAZING
I loved everything except the raven/Hank overtones. But take away that and this thing was freaking amazing!!
stormysongbird that fit perfectly with the verse that is about tarzans feelings for jane.

Wow, I didn't even notice that! Thank you!
wow great job! your video inapired me to make my own!
to the minute 0:47 behind the girl you can see a young Quicksilver playing baseball
That doesn't look like QuickSilver.
No its cyclops look at the hair and glasses

Azazel + Mystique = Nightcrawler.
This song suits mutants so well!
Perfect.
When you go to comic-con/anime-con.
@Glhrd Yes! I totally know what you mean. I cannot stop listening to that song now. I am VERY obsessed with it! And no, you are not crazy. :-)
Which movie are the two boys at 2:42 from? They don't look familiar.
It's been a while since I made this, so I'm not 100% sure exactly which movie they're from. I'm certain it's one of the original trilogy, probably 1 or 2. They are part of Xavier's school, that's all I remember for sure.
I just watched X-MEN and I own X2. Maybe I'l just have to look harder. Thanks.
Kaysee Lauss It's the first one, in the first bit where Logan meets Charles Xavier.
Pretty sure it's X-men the last stand when Xavier was talking about mutant ethics
Thanks! I love to hear that
X-Men: They come in all shapes and sizes.
Fico muito bom
0:37 toad!!
I love your video
Go teleporters!
And now that Disney owns Marvel, they can be even closer together! Yeah, I know Fox made X-Men, but still.
LOL Azazel is Nightcrawler's Dad and Mystique is his Mom. THAT'S why they have a lot in common.
Why can't I play it on my iPod anymore?
I so love this video it so cool and sweet
XD Thank you!!
thanks!
Could have gotten a completely different X-Men dark Phoenix movie if it wasn't for the live-action Captain Marvel movie
The Avengers mcu vs x men Fox, in crossover epic ⚔️👍🔥
Like si te recuerda a Tarzan de Disney
Really? I'm not sure, let me go muck around in the settings...
This song is me
Anything for a fellow moviemaker. :)
This song is fit for Charles Xavier
And the other world is Genosha
the first three are by far the best....cant stand the new guys in first class either
