This is video of a practice I did about a week ago. It was a decent practice that I have been able to improve on.

I'm excited for the 4th of July and can't wait to push myself to a new limit. I know my competitors (Matt Stonie & Carmen Cincoti) are going to be pushing me hard.

they're not amazing. well actually we can't know for sure if they're amazing because there's no rule about dunking. Joey is the superior eater tho and that's not debatable.
Jonathan Kim stonie deserves at least 3 nathans winnings. Everyone who watched knows it. There should be no stonie hate at all. The fact that they let someone who has already won so much get away with false eating is disgusting. Reminds me of the old #2 female eater. Joey should only have 9 championships which would be way more than him to be considered the GOAT of Nathan’s but they won’t stop dick riding his first three winnings. His last three “victories” with 70+ hot dogs have been false just look up the footage and look at how much he spit out and dropped everywhere. Matt deserves at least 4 actually now that I think about it because he eats clean and they mess up his count by 5-10 every year sense he beat Joey. I don’t blame Joey tho it’s not his fault it’s the people running these competitions. Cants wait till stonies rich ass opens up a legitimate eating program once he retires

More than just a practice video dude, it's a motivational video. Cool playing the sounds and commentary from your past competition to set the environment man. Absolutely inspirational to see someone work hard for what they want.

Joey, this is going to sound strange, but back in 2008 I was recently divorced, living with my parents again and didn't really have much to live for. It was July 4th. I saw something on the TV guide that sounded interesting; a hot dog eating contest. Really? I figured what the hell. I turned it on and there you were. I watched it and I was hooked. It's been a tradition of mine ever since. I have found better days since then and you have been there each year through it all. Thanks Joe. BEST OF LUCK to you and give it everything you got!!

Hey Joey!! im a competitive eater from Australia, and am a decently fast eater (i did a 10 patty burger in 3:50 seconds). Im wondering how you train to be a fast eater? I have the capacity but still need to fine tune some of the speed stuff haha.

I fail to understand why people have to choose either chest or stonie. Both are the best eating competitors on earth. People like these needs to learn how to appreciate other people's talents and efforts. You don't need to stigmatize one or the other to cheer for one of them.This polarization makes me sick.

Dude you dont know humans do you? We pick a side then stick with it for life and hate the other side so much. Its competion it drives us we are all chimpanzees. I went to a soccer game for the first time recently. Im a Canadian so a hockey fan. I couldn't tell you one thing about arsenal but id kill you for cheering for the other team. I chose a side and stuck with it. Ill die a arsenal fan now only watching one game and will burn down the bar of the other team. Normal human stuff.
