Another fantastic tour. We stayed in the las marinas apartments near to this. It was on the same road at the top of the hill. The palm trees and streets are immaculate in Matagorda. A really fabulous place. Thank you 😊 again for filming. I need to go back soon! Funny 🤣
It's funny Timothy, we really loved it there yet it wasn't expensive and we didn't know what to expect. It was perfect for us. Its right at the top of the hill on the opposite side of Morromar apartments and it's gated. I think we stayed there in 2009 (not sure now) but thereabouts and the apartments were being bought one by one. Not sure if it's now residential completely.
@@josephkane829 just did a quick search and I think you're right in saying they are residential, no reviews for the past few years but looks like some can be booked via 3rd party websites such as airbnb
Yes, I reckon there are quite a few that have been bought by people who use them as holiday homes and also let them out, in addition to locals living in them or retirees from other countries. The streets in Matagorda are just amazing. Palm trees everywhere. We always wondered what the Morromar looked like and your video showed us. We did go into the pool area to look one day and my daughter and I had a photo sitting on the steps at the entrance. She always remembers that vividly from aged 8. Funny 🤣
@@katievyse881 Sorry taken so long to reply. Floresta is good and close to beach/shops. Los Jameos is also very good. Las Gaviotas for self catering. A little more expensive is Lava Beach (right on the sea front) or the AEQUORA Lanzarote Suites which is nice too

How warm was the weather? Also was the pool available for people to use?
Was about 22c, dropping to 16c in the night. Pools were open and quite a lot of people were using them :)
