- In this video, I go over the basics of oversteering when turning right and left. I tell you what oversteering is, tell you about the common causes of oversteering, and also show you how to correct it. If you want to be a better driver, steering is one of the best things to improve on because you're always steering a car in one way or another when you're driving. With that being said, oversteering is a relatively common mistake that drivers make, and it's also relatively easy to correct.

I failed my road test because I was over and under steering. I'm getting driving lessons. I hope to pass the road test in mid-March this year 2022. I am learning how to loosen up behind the wheel. I appreciate this video.

@@IfIcanYoucan I am learning at old age too. and practicing just weekend i can not drive alone yet. But i think turns it is not too difficult for me i am having problem with parking and reversing of it. When you turn it is better slow down and then when you are in the lane you can increase the speed.

one thing that helps i drove for years and its to let the wheel correct itself after turning will help instead of tryna correct it yourself
Pleas place a camera in the front of your car so we can see the road

This is number 1 headache...... turning left/right and roundabouts..... I just cant seem to understand how much to turn, so i end up always understeering or oversteering.... I also have problem understanding the direction of the tires... I need to take my exam soon😫😫😫
It helps me when i look at the steering wheel you see how it has a horizontal handle in between the wheel.. Imagine its like the horizan and you angle it...idk if you understand but it helps me balance and see how much im turning the wheel...

I thought this dude was gonna show how to steer when drifting a corner. I’m 17 and haven’t even driven for a year yet. Not once did I ever experience oversteering the way he is describing it. Now... I have purposely taken a hard turn and losing traction on my rear tires to gain speed within a turn. (This guy lowkey sounds like the flex seal guy)

Could you do over steering for U turns? The speed, steering and space give me so much trouble. Especially because the lanes I deive in are so narrow I can't get away with big turns.
what happen if i am at 40M speed and i need to slow to 25 or 20 to turn? I feel secure to turn slowly. even with green light i need to slow down.

This is not what oversteer is. Oversteer is when you enter a corner too fast and the rear does not have enough grip. This causes the rear to come around. You can correct oversteer by turning into the skid. DONT JUMP OFF OF THE GAS.
