The extent we have gone to accommodate Rashford is incredible. We have had to buy a striker who tracks back and plays in the build up just so Rashford can sit up top and wait for the ball.

The biggest myth is that ETH is a Developmental Manager.
Garnacho and Mainoo would have likely developed regardless of ETH.
Amad did despite the long time lack of support by ETH.
Also Senior players can still develop and be retooled. Happens all the time at other clubs. But yet Players like Bruno, Rashford, Casemiro. They aren't growing as players. They're shrinking every season. Why is that?
Even a player like Dalot. Often held up as proof of ETH influence in player development. But where's the consistency. His development is now being hindered by being over played. And the lack of competition at fullback. Dalot plays regardless.
ETH is ultimately failing to up held a standard. By playing players like Rashford, Bruno, Dalot, Casemiro, Onana every week. Despite poor performances. This lack of consequences will seep into other players game. If it hasn't already.
Players like Garnacho and Amad see Rashford play bellow standard every week. But yet they are the ones getting subbed off. What's the lesson there. And how long will it be before they lose their passion and fire. Because if they can just hand in 5/10 performances and still get the same amount of game time as if they are getting 7-8/10 performances. Then where are the incentives to do better at this Club.
ETH hasn't learned from last season. He's still not taking responsibility. He's still looking for his next excuse.
So what can be done if the manager of your club is so thick headed he can't see his own faults.

Sometimes it just happens that you can't get all your signings in before the start of the season. In fact I'd say that's quite normal. A single player shouldn't be the difference between getting smashed at home and playing well enough to at least stand a chance.

And if you look at Ugarte on the ball, he passes a lot to the sides to keep possession and he's safe with the ball. In contrast, look at how ETH wants his midfielders to play. He wants quick forward passes, he wants to be "the best transition team." Well we will see.
