This is one of the better videos on this especially for sumo. Very thorough Bryce! Thank you, def sending this to clients
This must be the most comprehensive deadlift video on UA-cam 🤯 thank you!!!
Great video. Would love to see something similar for squat and bench press.
Wow first David Woolson's how to squat video and now this. Nothing can stop me now
Finally got the time to give this my full atenttion and absorb as much as I could, very very very solid video B!! Thanks so much for sharing this and hope that the youtube 2022 takeover goes as amazing as this first chapter!
Great video! Thanks for sharing! This has got to be the best deadlift talk on the Internet.
Superb stuff. Cheers mate!
Great info!
This is one the most comprehensive videos on deadlifting, thank you a lot!
Such a good video Bryce, watching this again in preparation for deadlifting tonight!
This is such a well made video. Deserves way more views than it has. Glad I found this. Subbed
That's a lot of effort and thanks for doing this video. I am slowly transitioning into sumo deadlifts and I find your videos to be super helpful also my proportions are similar to yours. Once again thank you.
Good info 👍
💯
Awesome stuiff Need a bench one. Can never figure out how to set the back. Feet on bench, rowing to the bar, unracking with glutes on or off, etc.
I injured my back from conventional deadlift, my deadlift has always been my weakest my numbers are 420/265/405 at 74kg, it’s so frustrating how it’s always lagging behind my squat, getting back into deadlifting but now trying sumo and relearning again, I’ll try the tips from this video!
I like that there is at least some weight on the bar, unlike almost every other "tutorial" where they use 5-10kg bumper plates or 20kg iron plates
every point is displayed much better this way
Now I'm going to make the heaviest weight tutorials on the internet
@@brycebyte lmao, if anyone can make it its you
What do you think about hip shooting (dynamic start) at the start the start of the dl, in order to get a stretch reflex effect
What trainers are they?! Looking nice 👍
Hi great video!! I have always wondered why my deadlift look so weird compared to what I thnik it should look like. I sumo deadlift and I have long legs, normal/long torso and short arms in relation to my body structure. For me to put myself in the most comfortable and strong position that I feel very powerful and natural, my back is rounded. I tried to que to stay upright which made me feel extremely week and akward to pull from and I also tried to widen my stance to get my hips closer to the bar which could improve my back positioning. But I think that the position Im in where my back is rounded feels the most comfortable and most powerful.
Well you might not be too far off what feels ideal, that's great! Just because you're rounding your upper back doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.
@thestrengthathlete Yeah I know, people saying that rounding your back even if you have the slightest round is really bad and should be avoided at all cost has affected my way of thinking. Though how do you know if your lower back is rounding. I think my upper back is the area where it is rounded but My back does not look like a straight line and the a curve. It has slight round from mid to upper back kinda idk.
Looking lean Bryce
Wow the weight cut really shows up in your face!
How do I keep my knees from shooting back on conventional? Sorry if you answered this in the video
I'd have to see how you deadlift to really give you a fair answer. Send me an email!
@@brycebyte ok thanks
Regarding stance width: Doesn’t it depend on hip flexibility a lot? If you lack the adductor flexibility you simply can’t do sumo deadlift.
You used the sumo deadlift to much for an example
