Hiya Mike, thanks for your support mate, means a lot! Yes I love the forest, nothing better! And OK buddy I'll write that down incase you come up on the random comment picker📝👍 very noble of you. And yes I did a quick review of the tent up against the iron wall version, not really much to review but I gave it a go for anyone torn between the 2 styles just as I was. Thanks for the kind words my friend, all the best, Ben
Congrats on reaching 500 subs. I always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for the chance. I also love the way you draw your camps. In my mind, that's much better than just taking a photo.

I love my lavvu too, decent bit of kit. I haven't used it yet for winter camping. Need to get a better sleeping bag really and a lantern to keep the inside warmer.
Hi Ben, I'm so happy I've come across your channel. I'm slowly getting into bushcraft and I find your vids so helpful and just a good watch! Here for the long haul and looking forward to watch your channel grow in 2021!! Happy News Year :)
I can't believe you only have 518 subscribers! Your videos are always so interesting and well produced, I'd say to a professional level. I can honestly say that the only way for your channel is up. I'm sure you're going to have a great new year.

@@WilkoWild it's a royal pain in the ass lol but I'm making a video about it.. well worth the work IMO instead of forking out the money I'm just spending hours here and there!! Another great video. Congratulations on hitting 500 subs. you deserve more, the effort that go’s in is top tier. Looking forward to more vids in the new year 👍🏼
Happy new year Ben, Just watched the new video, yet another great video I like the way you explain what you are doing but also why you do thing’s that way (so even a novice bushcrafter can follow and get more outdoor knowledge 👍🏼). Like to see a fellow Northerner with a lavvu, brilliant tents, also have a Hungarian one.😁 Have you seen the Afghani pressure cooker Simon in the Woods used in a recent video, a cracking cooking pot, really steam punk looking. I’ve got it on my shopping list. Nowt wrong with candles, love them, I spent 5 years living in India with very, very intermittent electricity, electricity is vastly over-rated!
They sure are Mat! Great shelters, and no buddy I'm afraid I haven't, will have to have a look soon, and your so right about electricity, one day it will all fail I'm sure of it. 👍 Kind regards Ben
Cant wait to do my first hot tent ⛺️ camp I’ve got the tent now saving for a stove I definitely like the look of the one your using as it’s £135 keep up the good work congratulations on your 500
Just want to know what the saw was...the large one...it looked rather light in weight, like the handle was aluminum but lighter than most others. As those type of blades have a nice agressive, deep cleaning cut. I think it can cut bigger logs? My (Coughlin's?) Sierra one-hand saw has fine(r) teeth which can clog easier? Did you cast a spell into the campfire by chance? It looked as though the flames lapped with blinding brightness, colour, and radiant heat of sorts.
I'm a wizard that's all 😂 and the saw is from a company called spring creek in the USA, a very lightweight and strong saw, I love it, hope that's helped, kind regards Ben
