Yo watching your video i realized that i live up the street from you haha. I just bought a go ped for the hell of it. Im looking forward to building it up
Derek I'm about to buy a new GoPed I need some advice on the best frame type and size engine for wanting to go fast. is the 46 cc engine good enough stock on trail Ripper or interceptor? thanks for your advice
JESUS SAVES Get a Trail ripper with the CILDI suspension, it's definitely the most versatile Goped out there and best suited for road use, well the interceptor but thats the same except road version. I'd get whichever 1 is available
JESUS SAVES Trust me if your getting just 1 ped and using it for multiple different things then you don't want to get a hard tire ped, don't get me wrong hard tire peds are great and all real simple and reliable but they are bone rattlingly rough over everything save for fresh pavement. GSR Cruiser's are simple and reliable but slow when stock, so one of those might be cool and you could modify it with money saved on not getting riot or trail ripper. derek NEVER responds to comments anymore.
I would get a gsr46 and build that engine. The CIDLI suspension peds have bad speed wobbles at speeds above 35mph..i know this cuz i installed a cidli retrofit suspension on my gsr46 and it was a big mistake. Everyone with the trailripper told me that the cidli suspension suck for the road, their good for offroad only but i didnt listen and ended up having to sell the cidli suspension for less then what i paid for it. I now have bothy forks and its perfect. I have a fully build CY470 engine btw..built by me. I will be doing a GPS video speed run to see how fast it is. It will be running a 10/68 gearing. So look out for that video soon.
@@Real_Richmond_510 No he didn't, he even said in the beginning of the video that both engines have the same gearing. The power band takes a second to kick into high rpms.. and he was testing the throttle the other times
I bet if someone were to take those two engines, port polish just build em up to the max and stick them on a bicycle frame with 7 speed gear box, hook up a jack shaft kit that their combined power would allow for 100 mph. I mean It'd have to be a lighter bicycle with the lightest motorized bicycle wheels and the engines would need to be built like I said and running on 110 octane race gas, but I bet it wouldn't take that much work to make that happen.
How does a two engine set up even work ? Are they linked somehow? Is there one drive chain or two? Super confused but holy crap that's a badass scoot man.
One engine is hooked up to the 1st sprocket thats on the left side of the wheel and the other engine is hooked up to the 2nd sprocket that is on the right side of the wheel. Atleast thats how i seen it on his other video with the twin engine ped where he ran 64mph.
it was a good video except for your remark about mustangs Ford first on race day fast on race day and last but certainly not least ferocious on race day no damn junk Chevrolet
That 2 stroke sound made me so happy
wooooo! thats freaking awesome.......gotta love that 2 stroke sound

Man, where can I get those engines?
U should have one engine on low gearing and the other one on high (acceleration+ and speed+
He did..... t.i ou could hear the sound of when the engines were at different speeds when he was doing the straight away runs

Hi Derek, on your go-peds did you got your exhaust pipes ceramic coated? Thank you for your time.
