From what we know about Night Swan, and her wanting everything to be danced to perfection. In Locked Out of Heaven, I don't think she was unhappy with her son dancing, but more so she was unhappy that he wasn't good enough of a dancer. You can especially tell this since it starts with Jack practicing the same spin move, but failing and that's when we see Night Swan upset, then we see him dance as an adult and we never see Night Swan looking upset with him again. I'm pretty sure Jack feels like he's locked out of heaven because he isn't allowed to dance for fun, because his mom only allows him to dance to perfection.
I mean basically everyone in the Danceverses dances. If she was upset with Jack Rose for performing, it would be like a mother being upset with her child for breathing.
11:06 fun fact, if you pay close attention to the bg you'll notice bars curving up around Jack, almost like a bird cage.

Some details that I noticed in Treasure is that Jack Roses' outfit design is "mirrored" from his original design in Locked Out Of Heaven. His feather boa is now on his left shoulder instead of his right, the glove colors switch, and even his hair is flipped, too. In the story playlist trailer, we see Jack looking down at some golden, reflectant substance.
So, this could mean that Treasure could be relectant of Jack's opposite side, where it's now all bright, colorful, and optimistic to his opposite reality of dark and colordless.

The best part of this was when the twitter account got hacked by night swan/ dark disco ball. So many amazing lines such as “Chocolate cannot release this one from my hold, unfortunately. Nice try.”, “An army of simps Vs my dark legion...I wonder who would prevail”, “stay gagged”, “Your queen rules through girlbossing alone.”, “You think that four-step, two-count trotter can beat me? Try elegance and perfection”, and best of all “If someone doesn't explain what this parental figure business is, a Swan Soldier will pay.”

I think Jack Roses map is him day dreaming of who he really wants to be, but the look of what his mother wants. The way how the audience is just him and the sparkles is the sky. It looks like he’s dreaming of who he wants to be and not a bad guy.

Those little huts on "Stronger" are beach lockers. Basically a securable private changing room where you can safely leave things like wallets, keys, bags, shoes, and street clothes while on the sand or in the water.
This game went from fun to serious with all the lore.

okay theory on Jack Swans Dance: So in locked out of heaven we saw Night Swan disapprove and not really be accepting of Jack's dancing and him expressing himself because she wants him to join her dancing brain washed block, so that's why he was dacing in his room in front of a mirror, and I think the crowd of people we saw in that performance that was shouting his name, was all just something his imagined or dreamed of and when the Night Swan's statue appeared it was like the looming reminder to Jack that his mom was always watching.
So with this Dance I'm thinking that this is a version of Jack that doesn't have a looming Night Swan over his shoulder anymore, and he can love himself freely. And there are mirrors in the first part of the preview but he isnt facing them, so I'm thinking that he doesn't need them anymore to dance. And when we go to the shot of him on a stage surrounded by himself I think it's his way of saying that he's finally dancing for himself, and only himself and not for Night Swan. I also think the song choice fits my theory.

And another thing, Jack Rose has a different name than Dark Swan, could he be the spitting image of his father? Was it his father she met when she was doing ballet before she failed? Is he in any way shape or form related to cypress? All of these things MUST be asked to the lore guardian. Is cypress his dad? Is that what his dance represented? I have so many questions related to these things. Would cypress have anything to do with the treasure dance? It is just a humongous mess of a family tree
I personally think Jack harnesses Night Swan's powers and uses it to counter-act Night Swan's powers to protect everyone... so everyone turns into him to fight against Night Swan and probably turn back to normal once she's defeated?
Edit: Before you reply can you please not . nudge spoilers to the main story for me and others :(( i understand a lot of you have seen leaks or w/e but it ruins the fun for ppl who just wanna theorize the story..
I’m thinking nightswan turns everyone evil including sara, Wanderlust, Mihaly and brizziana while Jack is stills deciding whether to join his mother or save the dancers and it’s all up to him while his mother and friends are capturing more dancers and turning them to her and it’s up to him and other old coaches to save his friends and the dance world

im assuming jack roses song is a fantasy conjured by night swan, maybe its what her followers experience when they "serve" and the main cast break them out of the fantasy

I have a theory about the Treasure map. I think that Night Swan has him trapped somewhere so he’s living this dream but really she’s trapped him in a never ending loop, he just doesn’t know it.
Oh my god Jack's design is flipped. The feathers used to be on his other shoulder and the gold glove was his main one before, not the purple one. So i'm leaning towards it being a Night Swan imagination type thing. Like a mirror Jack that does what she wants instead of disobeying her.
Out of all of the lore songs... I love Mihaly's song. Flume is an artist that I have listened to last year and his music is GOOD! I love, Love, LOVE Electronic music and its sub-genres. The music gets you having fun but it also tells you a story like you are on an adventure. Also, Flume is an Australian DJ... since I was born and lived in Australia, I practically give *extra points* on new Australian artists in Just Dance. Hope Just Dance adds in the song *Insane* by Flume featuring Moon Holiday, that was the song I discovered his music. No surprise, I listen to a few different label channels on UA-cam such as; *Hospital Records, Monstercat and NoCopyrightSounds [NCS]* - _Cradles_ by Sub Urban actually started from NoCopyrightSounds. I listen to that sort of music on the regular, otherwise my heart flatlines... lol.
Mihaly's song Never Be Like You works just as well as Rather Be in terms of their thoughts. They "rather be" focusing on their Flow and they ripped the poster of Night Swan and reminds to themself that they'll "never be like you". I am still shocked that Mihaly is a Night Swan simp! Damn... what other secrets are they hiding? They just took the red pill from Grandmaster Panda and inadvertently followed in Night Swan's footsteps.
Not gonna lie, I want ALL of The Just Dancers (except Jack Rose) to be evil just like Sara. There is enough evidence there that Night Swan will win the war by exploiting their weaknesses. How dare did Jack Rose disrepcts his mother! Well... by the looks of it, Jack Rose's new friends are going to betray him instead.
I actually know what is going on due to the leaks which has been pretty much a problem for Just Dance as a whole in the entire year of 2023... soooooooo. I know what the other songs that are left to be revealed are... and I'm mostly not looking forward to it... don't block me. I got caught cheating by pretending to be an evil Night Swan version of myself named *Malingre* ( _French_ for sickly) and I pretty much had to kill him and delete all of my comments that was by Malingre. That was a waste of a few days of trying to impress Night Swan and will haunt me in my folders for a good while. I was trying to do something different with my Twitter/X profile. Well... looks like I am going to have to find a new Halloween outfit to wear in my Twitter/X profile. [french accordian plays, then static TV noises]
One thing that was funny for me when watching this video... the AI Spongebob voice that doesn't sound like Spongebob. Nice to see you are trying something with the intros and this one definitely chuckled a bit just because of how crap it went.
I will let you know what was significant about Night Swan's tweets from each teaser that I have found out... they're all about each character's weaknesses.
*Wanderlust* is careless without thinking of the risks
*Brezziana* struggles without people around her to help her out
*Mihaly* is a Night Swan simp
*Jack Rose* is a narcissist and only spends time looking at himself instead of actually seeing his friends... and
*Sara* probably has self-esteem issues just like Night Swan (it doesn't really explain in the teaser) but since Night Swan was a failed ballerina... I can see that being related to Sara not feeling confident about herself around others.

Maybe Jack was dancing to himself because Swan didn't let him go out, so he was always on his own. And maybe because of that, he was dancing to himself in his own head, like we do, while singing or dancing, imagine that we are on the stage singing or dancing to the crowd in front of us
I think that when we saw Jack Rose on Night Swan’s side in the story trailer, it was her reminiscing about the past, and Treasure is what he’s doing currently and he just has the feathers and hair to remember his mother.
No because why does this storyline hit so hard like seeing these coaches for the 2nd year in a row has only gotten me MORE invested

I have a theory for Jack. I think in Locked out of Heaven, Nightswan was punishing Jack for not dancing perfectly. (cause she's run on perfection) So, wanting a break from the punishment, he goes over to the good guys. But, after 2023 ended, Nightswan realized that Jack is a valuable ally, and so praised him. Jack then returned to his mom's side. (because family first or something I don't know)
Either that is Night Swans vision of Jack or He is having a nightmare

After finally pulling the plug and doing the into the dance-verse playlist I kinda made a theory with Jack Rose. In locked out of heaven while on the stage he begs to stay there forever and its also shown he doesn’t want to upset his mother. What if treasure is all a dream and Night-swan made him fall into a slumber because she saw that he can turn people evil and also purify people in majesty with wonderlust,because we know she’s wanting to take over Sara, so she takes care of Jack Rose knowing that he will try to prevent her?
Is anyone going to tell her that at the end of Mihaly’s dance preview you can see Night Swanified Panda's spirit around her?

Honestly I think Jack’s is more character development. Before he had to dance alone and hide it, but the new map is him dancing for himself to have fun and not caring what others (like his mom) think!

It seems like Night Swan is going after the team that beat her the first time, trying to turn them before they even know she's back. Brezziana's friends weren't able to fight her off alone but our girl is dancing her heart out to encourage them, it's like she's playing tug-of-war with NS for the people's hearts. ❤
