Thank God that most vendors are generally gone from the city centre & thus the city can now be cleaned although there’s still a long way to achieve an acceptable standard of cleanness everywhere
Let us not think small, let the face of Lusaka change by putting up new measures to ensure that the owners of those inferior shops are raised down to build morden structures. It is not that the owners of those shops have no money, they have money they are reluctant to build new structures because there's no one to push them and secondly because they are foreigners and that they don't mind it, so if our authorities are not active, the town will remain like that as though we experienced a war, please ensure that something is done before long.
Most of those shops are owned by our Indian friends. I’m not being racist but they don’t care about modernising shops as long as they’re doing their businesses without any problem. It’s the council with unqualified personnel to blame. Here councils have plans of how they would like their cities or suburbs to look like in a a certain period of time. Look at our so called CBD streets with no bins for the public to throw in their rubbish. Every business here have their own bins where they throw their rubbish too, which are emptied by the garbage contractor company each week. In that way, you will never find rubbish being thrown on street island like we see in this video

do you know that hungry lion started in Malawi then moved to Zambia??
Aren't there some motorcyclists in Lusaka?
I haven't seen any in this video
There is some ...but mostly used by courier and pizza delivery
Go to western Africa or Eastern Africa You'll find them mostly in Uganda & Tanzania 😅 here in southern Africa we don't have such nonsense
Frame around the video is distracting.
Will keep that in mind Thanks 👍
