Rentouttavaa kuunnella ja mahtavaa että olette jaksaneet tehdä töitä tämän projektin parissa :) Oletteko koskaan ajatelleet tehdä fyysistä levyä kun saatte runot valmiiksi? Täällä olisi ehdottomasti yksi ostaja :D Hyvää vuotta 2023 teille! :)
Mietin tuossa muutama päivä sitten että tulikohan vasemman puolinen heppu vastaan, jännitti sen verran etten kehdannu kysyä. Oletteko Joen Kaupungissa, Pielisen pientareilla?
We were just talking about how nice it would be to have someone who understands about sound quality and such things... We could do a patreon and raise money to pay for a proper studio session.
@@kalevalalaulettuna4031 if a fundraiser does come I will push it to the best of my ability, I can call in some favours to get it going. Something like a gofundme campaign would be better for passing this around online. I want to do this solely out of appreciation for the Kalevic tradition
@@NeofolkClassics We agreed with Sipo that we should do a proper studio session, and get a bit more serious with the work, also. I've been looking into the possibilities of collecting money, seems like I need a licence from the police to set up a gofundme, it's also a one time deal, so we'd need to do one for every poem we want to record in a studio. Patreon seems exhausting in its own way, but still somewhat easier if we want to have some continuity. Do you have experience with the platforms? Is there a reason you recommend gofundme over patreon?
@@kalevalalaulettuna4031 A GoFundMe/Kickstarter would be more effective in this case I think, because Patreon is essentially for dedicated fans of a channel who want to automatically send a small amount of money each month to support regular content producers for a bonus like "your name shown in the credits of each video" or "entry into the exclusive Discord server" or "we send you merch". People are much less likely to sign up for a monthly billing if they just stumble upon a social media post saying "Pekka and Sipo need to fund their Kalevala recording sessions" without being dedicated fans of the channel who know what this thing is about already. So if we want money from people who may not necessarily be dedicated fans of the channel but who are legitimately interested in a Kalevala interpretation album, then it has to be a fundraiser for the best efficiency. But I understand if Finnish law limits possibilities, it is news to me that in Finland you need a specialised form of approval from the police to raise money for projects. Maybe there's a possibility that a Finnish fundraiser site wouldn't have such legal constraints? My uninformed guess is that this limit exists due to GoFundMe not being based in Finland or the EU.
@@NeofolkClassics It seems if you just ask for donations, you need to have a permit, but if you offer something in return (ie. patreon's "exclusive content") you don't need the permit because you're selling something. There's a Finnish project funding site similar to gofundme, mesenaatti.me that has info on how to avoid the need for the permit. I need to think of something tangible to offer... maybe sipo can sell his beard hair :p
This is one of your most beautiful recordings.
Enää 35 runoa vielä! :D
So glad to see you guys!
Melkein joka kerta menee hetki hakiessa yhteistä tahtia ja säveltä, mutta hetken päästä aina löytyy. ja huomaa miten meininki muuttuu!
People if you wold know how difficult this is. The hymn helps but the shier effort this two are giving is epic.
Awesome recording!
Could you please add the subtitles?
They're comings, slowly but surely. :)
Glad to see you're back!
Tätä on odotettu 😄

Ei tässä kummempia suunnitelmia ole, mutta suunta on selvillä. Ajateltiin seuraavaksi kokeilla studionauhoitusta, katsotaan mihin virta vie.

Saattoi hyvin tullakin, siellä suunnilla Sipo on liikuskellut.
