This is great! Supplizio is our go-to for suppli. We also love Mordi e Vai at the Testaccio Market, Pizzarium (my favorite is the potato pizza), and pizza bianca at Forno Campo de'Fiori or Antico Forno Roscioli. You can do a lot in Rome for 20 euro.

As italian from Rome, i want to say to you a very strange thing about supplì Supplì is a roman dish, absolutely roman dish If you go in north of italy they don't know what is a supplì In a country like Italy sounds incredible. If you'll came back in Rome, you MUST try cacio e pepe a Felice a Testaccio. Reserving the table is essential many people want to eat there, before it was only locals, now tourists have discovered it as well 😅
I am happy to see that your trip were full of fun and pleasure. When I was young 35 years ago, I visited Rome. But the tourist industry was quite primitive, not as much as now. I even did not see any street food. We only bought pizza from supermarket and ate at the bench by the road. And the pizza was hard , not nice.
I NEED that chocolate dipped ice cream cone with the chocolate dipped cookie with the crushed Pan Di Stelle cookies. It looks so good that after you eat it you can burst out in song like the Three Tenors! I will run over a nice Italian grandma (a nonna) with a vespa scooter to get one!

Yes, I saw that there is a NYC location - someone told me it's like $20 for 1 sandwich though...so crazy! 😅 They do import their products from Italy to try and keep it authentic, so that probably explains the higher price tag!
Trapizzino has definitely expanded since we left Rome in 2019 (we lived there from 2017-2019)! And you were brave to wear a white top. :-) Personally, I prefer Otaleg for the gelato. And you could eat one less of the Trapizzino pockets and walk a couple of hundred meters and go to Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa for a good beer. Yes, good beer in Roma!
Frigidarium was a great recommendation! I took the influencer bait and tried Giolitti and got kicked out (which apparently happens more often than not according to reviews). That left a very sour taste in my mouth and so I walked over to Frigidarium instead. The quality of gelato tramples Giolitti. Really wanted to try Supplizio, but we did get a Favolosa sandwich which was worth the wait.
Hello we will be there in November. What time did you start & end? Are these places open early/late? Can be done on Friday 8pm or sunday 10am, depending when they open & close each place. Also how did you get from 1st place to rest, was it walking distance from each place? Thank you.

In Rome there are so many restaurants in town that a really great plate of pasta is 10-12 bucks. Add a fiver and have a glass of wine too.
