This is the best Pixel 2 XL Battery Replacement Guide/Video around!
I've ordered my battery several months ago as it was finally available in the EU, but I have been putting the actual replacement off.
Some guides (even iFixit's) don't offer very good steps, others recommend disassembling the entire phone! All say this is an extremely difficult process with many people ending up breaking the screen, damaging the phone, or just giving up on self-repairing it.
I followed your steps, took my time, and managed to successfully replace mine!
