I've been developing in Wix Studio for a few days and overall i'm happy. The responsiveness features and AI is next level. There are a few setbacks thought. Been trying to create a 'hover repeater' that changes the picture on hover or 'on click' and its way harder to do in Studio then in classic editor, the studio platform has crashed a few times on me, and I find there are many features that are NOT in studio that was on classic editor (i.e. add a frame to a picture). Hoping over time these simple features are brought online. My biggest hope is that they take the 'interactions' tab to the next level and give it more capability

I think thats very awesome! Nice progress and I think that this makes Wix a way better competitor - the classic editor ist just not it anymore in my opinion. But this can change it all! Hyped :)
Wix studio has the responsive AI which isn't included in EX. I tried it - definitely very helpful. I create my layout on desktop and click responsive AI and it creates my designs in mobile saving me time. This is cool. I think EX was sort of a hold over and didn't take off like you said so here we are. They're trying to get back some of Webflow and Framers momentum (even though Wix as a whole has a greater market share than either) As we speak I'm trying to learn Velo. JS is a my weakpoint - I always give up learning it lol

I've been building my site on basic wix editor and want to transition to Wix Studio. Is that capability available yet for the masses? If so, how do I do it?

What about self hosting - can you export sites to your own custom domain?
Ah you have hit one of the primary WiX pain points...

Would people on premium plans be able to access Wix Studio ?
I don't think access will depend on having purchased a premium plan. Like the other Editors it will be based on a freemium structure with it's own pricing.
