Interesting, glad you enjoyed them.. I paid a visit to my local Asian food store recently for spicy noodles after taking a great notion for them, you should review noodles from that one Steve

Yes, I noticed the egg taste too with these and other Indian snacks. It could be sulphur in the ingredients.

Hi Steve I know exactly why they tasted eggy, the used black salt on them, and it must have sulfur in it.I have bought it in the Indian market, and it is strongly eggy,I never used it didn’t know what to do with it.If you like the Indian spicy snacks buy them in the Indian store, they will be so much better than the ones you got from the UK supermarket.😊

I think the price is too much for what you’re getting. I’d be willing to try these flavors, but I don’t think I would like them too much.

I know you got these from a londis but I'd urge anyone to seek out local international food shops/supermarkets. Often sometimes people if they see a polish, Indian or Chinese supermarket they won't go in. I recently found a Chinese supermarket that does so many snacks and drinks I've never seen before. They do a lot of lays. There actually is an egg flavour. The 19p is probably quite dear to an Indian local in India. It's nothing to use but could be the equivalent to us paying £2 for a bag of crisps in terms of their average income Vs ours. Oh and when you buy stuff like this always check theyve not rubbed the date off, i know they hadnt here but its common. They just use an alcohol wipe. An american sweet shop near me does it.

The average Indian makes about £9,000 a year, compared to our £42,000. Since we make 4.6 times as much as them, a fifth of the price there seems about right 👍
