i have one on my board, i don't use chorus much so i didn't want to spend to much.. saying that though, the pedal is really good, no frills, really easy to use, and sounds really sweet. highly recommend
There was a loud electrical "thunk" when you pressed the footswitch. Was that the switch or a noise made by one of the jack/plug contacts from moving when you pressed the switch? This pedal does sound pretty amazing.
So I think the popping is a random issue with the unit I have :) none of the other Kmise pedals I have pop.. hopefully someone else who owns the pedal can comment if their unit does it too! Though I did buy the pedal the same way you guys would so there is a chance you'll get a popper haha! Thanks for the comment
From what I know, true bypass pedals often pop when switched at first because of a buildup of static electricity that is discharged when the pedal is engaged. Usually turning the pedal on and off a few times with the footswitch clears out the static buildup and you're good after that.
I purchased one of the pedals before seeing this video and it had a very nasty pop. I contacted the vendor just to let them know(I ordered from eBay and it came quick and was cheap so left a good review despite issue). They offered to send a replacement, no questions asked. The second one had an even WORSE pop! So I am thinking they either had a bad batch or it has a fault in the design. Ah well no biggie as these are so cheap and I have had nothing but good results with the other cheap-o pedals I have purchased. I can write off one dud. It is a shame as it is nice sounding. Probably would be OK for someone who leaves it on all the time or just for occasional use while recording.

Just got one of these to replace a Boss Chorus. Im not worried about the click when you turn it on because I never turn mine off! lol
thats how I feel about it! why would anyone turn chorus off? haha
This beginning of this video cures insomnia

This click is present in other vids.
My pedal doesn't have that click. I think they fixed the issue.
Probably would be fine turned on the whole time for a synth pad, you think?
I hear these are a sub brand of Joyo. Kinda like the Caline/Azor thing.. Great way to try out different sounds without breaking the bank! ✌🏻🎸
Ooh I didn't know that! I love Joyo stuff :) got my first amp demo coming up which is a Joyo great sound!
Love these Kmise pedals. I am currently using the phaser and it sounds just like the phaser used on Van Halen 1.
The loud pop is enough for me to say, no go. That’ll get in the way of a delay or recording.

raceface_m just received all 3 that I ordered it’s issue with all of the pedals except for the phaser

Yeah... but who clicks out of a chorus in mid song?
Does anyone know if the sapphue chorus pedal is the same circuit as this? They look super similar
Yes
Not only the same circuit: it's exactly the same pedal.
i’m bummed cus i bought that exact one and it doesn’t even work but i might have done something wrong tho
Pay atention to power source polarity! Use Boss like PS, with the (+) on outside ring of connector.
Can you play come as you are
Ce nano mosky review do
this or the twinote analogue chorus?
does it work with bass? or is there any bass demo?
@Gupster 23 that’s alright! maybe i should try it out
Wish they made reverbs
Check out Mosky. I'm getting one when the shipping delay madness ends, already have their Green Drive and like it.
@@andreeadobre3190 i am considering that one actually XD
What's better for the Metallica sound? This or the classic chorus?
Either will be fine. This is an "old school" analog chorus just like the Boss CE-2 from the 1980s (except that it's "true bypass" when switched off).
@@voiceofexperience got the analog a few months ago. It's great. Can't believe I was considering spending over 100 more.
as a beginner i want to purchase cheap pedals
As a tightwad, so do I!
If you don't play come as you are on a chorus pedle you are doing it wrong
why? we all know exactly what it will sound like. played out
Boss CE-2 clone for 1/10 the $$$ of an 80s original!
That annoying pop sound when you turn the effect on/off...
So basically a clone of mxr analog and angel wing

I've got the phaser too! great sound :) the only downside I've had with Kmise is this chorus popping whenever it's pressed sounds great though!
Ryan Lutton Oh no ! can’t be havin all that.
