Might as well rename it to Londonstan now that's why, majority populated by people that have immigrated there and brought their culture there in the last 60 years, and at the same time Londoners have moved to elsewhere in the country or abroad, these are facts I went to London once a decade back when I was child and it was too overpopulated even back then and made me glad that I live at the Kent seaside.

When I first saw Binface I thought this guy is either crazy or just an attention seeker. But every time I hear him talking, he sounds completely reasonable.
As someone had noted, he’s a reasonable person in a silly suit, while politicians are silly persons in a reasonable suit.

I can’t tell if this statement is a joke or not.
I would love to have Count Binface as an MP bring some gravitas and dignity to Parliament after the absolute clownshow we've had in the past few decades.

When London needed him most he returned what a hero
Binface is an amusing joke, and with the previously electoral system a harmless one. But with the move to first past the post the there was a risk he would hand victory to Susan Hall. But I think the most amazing thing for me is binface doesn't even live in London! and I know you only have to live or work in London to stand for Mayor, but still, I'm not sure I like the idea of someone living on the Sussex Coast standing for Mayor.

Count Binface is my choice. Who else is out there has in their manifesto a Night Mayor on Elm Street? Thames Water Bosses being tossed in the Thames is a great idea. Tying Nurses pay raises to Minister's pay raises is brilliant.

Jacob Haugaard who ran for every parliamentary election for a small independent joke party; "Union of Deliberate Work-avoiding Elements" (Danish abbreviation SABAE) slogan was "if work is healthy, give it to the sick!".
He ran as a joke from 1979 onwards, until he unexpectedly won a seat in the 1994 general election; he won on a manifesto of; more tailwind on bicycle paths, Nutella in the rations of soldiers (which was actually implemented), and shorter queues in supermarkets. although as his time in parliament impressed on him, he actually took his seat serious for the years he was in parliament. -When his portrait was hung in the parliament, Haugaard commented that it should serve as a warning that any idiotic populist might get elected.

Here in Canada they cranked up the filing fees a few years ago and eliminated "unserious" candidates.

That's the most relaxed I've ever seen Cathy Newman as an interviewer. Good entertainment. The Count is a very smart dude.
She didn't say "so what your saying is..." even once; so she's learning! Honestly she was quite a good sport all things considered.

Here in the UK there is a long tradition of shall-we-say eccentric individuals standing for local and general elections. One all time favourite who stood in many local and general elections for many years was Screaming Lord Sutch of the Monster Raving Loony Party. (sadly now deceased).

Jokes aside, the ability for any British citizen to stand in an election should they so wish should be a democratic right - and joke candidates like Count Binface should be considered a celebration of the democratic process.
I voted for him. I voted for Khan previously but I wasn't impressed by ULEZ - too many of these schemes amount to taxing the poor.
Susan Hall is clearly thick and full of hate, and the rest were uninspiring.
