    Your video was a huge help! I just bought this myself and was having a hard time following the instructions and have an easier time learning by watching instead of reading. Helped me out a great deal! Thank for posting!

    Awesome thank you my son is 8 months and can only eat 6 oz so im constantly making 6oz and saving 1oz or tossing adding to food anything to not waste i get it 39.99 is ridiculous for a can.... but i love it because he isn't suffering anymore... now I can make a full days amount and NOT WASTE 1 DROP 🥰😁 happy mommy...

    Thanks for posting! I am considering buying a pitcher as we fortify the milk for our preemie baby with a ratio of water to formula that is different to that on the cans. This helps having it premade rather measuring each time we make a bottle. Warming up the milk does add an extra step but i can deal with that - some days he is so hungry he will take a semi-cold bottle.

    Just found it on Amazon this morning lol I get so tired of making bottles late evening or when he gets up to eat. This saves me time. Just pour, warm it, and feed 💯❤️

    Awesome video.
    In the UK the measurements are in increments of 1. I agree it should be like this here.

    I was under the impression that we are supposed to boil the water and then let it chill to room temperature before we use it for formula?

    If you want to be precise about formula (and you should be). Get a scale that can measure down to a 1/10 of a gram. Look on the side of the can and it will tell you how much a scoop of formula should weigh (8.7 grams in this case). So for every 2 ounces of water, you will need 8.7 grams of formula. So for 20 ounces of water you will need 10 scoops of formula which is 87 grams (8.7x10).

    I just got one of these and am wondering if I just got a defective one. The lid started shedding plastic where the mixing bar goes up and down. Now I am worried about plastic partcle shaving off into the formula I feed my baby.

    So you can mix it, put it in the refrigerator and then pour a bottle and heat it up to the babies desired temperature?

    • @PlayRightParent
      @PlayRightParent  2 роки тому

      Yes, as long as the prepared formula is used within the recommended time.

    So what I do daily (first time mom) is get 4 4 oz bottles prepared,and spend so much time shaking each bottle. Going to try this. What I still am confused about is u saying if ur baby uses weird amounts and that happens a lot she wouldn’t always use even amount of formula so I would be wasting so much because u have to get rid of it I was told. So how much do u put in this pitcher? Just about 8 oz ? So than u make the 8 u pour it into a bottle what if u pour more in the bottle than she drinks..I still have to throw away some formula or am I confused? But this is awesome for shaking alone I spend so much time shaking and it is always clumped

      marie kr what I usually do is keep the extra milk in another bottle saved. Along with the others in the fridge. They can be stored for up to 24 hrs (in the backof the rl fórmula can it says it and is not recommended to use if left outside fridge after two hrs because bacteria can grow “) so what ever milk you have left make sure to keep in the fridge and just use it for next feeding or before the 24hr time frame is up. Hope my reply helped. Or just make sure to not make the total amount the baby drinks per day the less than what the baby drinks and continue to make the rest as the day goes on.

    What kind of bottle warmer would you recommend to get to warm the refrigerated milk? My baby spits up cold milk so I have to warm it..

    • @ashley08xoxo
      @ashley08xoxo 5 років тому +1

      You could just use hot water to warm the milk if you want to save money. We use a Tommee Tippee one just because it came with these bottles I bought

    I just don’t understand why pre mix?! I find so much easier to prep on bottle at the time baby eats. Plus who wants to warm up? Not all babies drink cold milk

    • @PlayRightParent
      @PlayRightParent  4 роки тому +1

      Premixing is good when you have to fortify formula like I had to with my son. He has a swallowing issue and when he was very young needed more fat/calories. So on the can it gives a ratio like so many scoops for so many ounces of water, his doctor gave us a different ratio so for that reason mixing it was easier since we couldn’t use the standard instructions. And it wasn’t anything easy either like just double the scoops, it was complicated so once it was mixed I knew how many ounces to give him so he was getting to correct amount of calories/fat. I used to think fortifying formula meant adding something other than extra formula, but for my son that’s all we had to do is just add more powder formula per ounces of water.

    • @PlayRightParent
      @PlayRightParent  4 роки тому +1

      And I agree it is a pain to warm it up but we did using an electric bottle warmer.

    What's the point of this?

    • @brisacarpena6584
      @brisacarpena6584 4 роки тому +7

      To avoid mixing formula by shaking formula in bottle. When you shake to mix formula It creates air bubbles and pressure inside bottle which is no good for a baby that suffers from colic.

      Melinda till your baby almost dies like mine did from to much water toxicity because the machine screws up and doesn't measure like it should I unforutanly learned the hard way this product should of been recalled playing with a babys formula is not a risk I'll take if your don't malfunction congrats but be very careful and know the signs before it's to late this has happened with alot of baby's so far.
