Honestly, these 600-800 played really really well for their rating, there were no one move blunders, just some missed tactics.
They blundered the knight.
@@adlex1212 not really a blunder for that level
900+ blunders are less common. I think people lose because they don't know how to convert middle game or endgame. Or missed tactics. I know I do as a 900 lol
Yeah, that must be a real low rating.
If you're used to watching other streamers smurfing on newbies, it's often 3 minute games etc. You play like 25 elo better per minute on the clock (obviously so does your opponent, so you dont actually gain elo but the games look better). The 10 minute games they make a bit less mistakes.
Anna: en passant isn’t a forcing move
r/AnarchyChess: *So you have chosen death*
She must be telling a lie! Everyone knows that en passant is mandatory!
It's not for her. She doesn't face the threat of the brick
The only time moves are forced is when you play over the board against someone who employs the American defense, pointing a gun at your head telling you what moves to make
en passant is cheating
en passant is so good because if you play it at lower levels they are so confused they have to resign
This girl would not even be able to begin to explain what I’m doing wrong
Fr tho😂
Really must say, got into chess 3 days ago, trying to learn something, and Anna is like the only creator that I understand what she's talking about, they all speak so fast with jargon, I have to listen to each video 3 times in a row. I know I got to learn these thing, but this is so much smoother.
I suggest you Robert Ramirez
it would have been so sweet to watch her get paired up with hikaru on a smurf account. i would love to see that. i can imagine her talking and then slowly getting silent as she gets lost deep in thought.
i’ve been playing for a single week (literally didn’t know a single thing about chess before then) and these 800 rated players seem like top players😂😂😂got so much to learn about this damn game
How’s chess so far?
how bout now
waiting for update
Anna you are by far the nicest chess streamer, always smiling, never disrespectful ,you are amazing
...but on way too much coffee, she is all over the place.
@@frightfactory1 Adderall lol
@@insaneguitarboyw it’s messed up. little girl is pretty much hooked on cocaine/meth but it’s ok because the government/big pharma invented ADHD and told her she’s intrinsically broken and needs it to function “normally”
@@kend7597 wouldnt taking Adderall doing cocaine fuck your chess game up?
@@kend7597 what the hell
thank you so much for this video! this was helpful, love it
That was a very strong 600.
2 biggest lessons from this for a noob like me:
1) Get all your pieces involved
2) Too much focus on your own plan while not responding to what the other player is trying
Also Anna craving chocolate, way too cute
Same
I focus so much on what my opponent is doing that i dont focus on my own plan and eventually, i fuck up and something gets taken. Need to get outta this annoying habit.
I think Anna had half a dozen of those cappuccinos !?!?
"Alpine, En passant is not forced. How's your chess going, Alpine?"
😂 dead
hey this videos are really helpful, i'd love if u done a serie of it
also im waiting for your book, when is it comming?
Nothing against Anna but I highly recommend checking out Daniel Naroditsky's speed runs.
Cast your net wide my friend. See what fits.
Did she really say en passant isn't forced? She doesn't believe in anarchy supremacy? She's a non-believer!
I don't care if I blunder checkmate I don't care, let my elo go down, en passant anyway.
Forced?!..you cant FORCE people nowadays!
I'm surprised she doesn't get banned from UA-cam for posting fake news!
It never is, but if you pieces are well protect to begin with it is often the best one but only if you have a good temple.
I'm learning so much watching Anna play....Getting better every day now
2:02 I always thought this was a bug in the chess program ....
it has such specific rules/situations that I have played 400 games and never used it
13:25 the bishop on f5 is not threatened bc its defended the pawn only is threatened
Its just incredible how fast and how much you talk! ^^
She talks at 7000 words per minute.
I respect Anna and her positive personality to chess.. I personally do not play chess often enough to get past about a 1250 ave. Rating I thought I'd be like Bobby Fischer..lol ha! I enjoy your vids!
Anna… you are by far the best coach for a guy like me… I’m not very good but you really help me improve
I love your accent so much ! Thanks for all the chess help !
Thanks you Anna ❤️👍🏻 This video idea is lit
"Imagine they're chocolate, and you want to eat them up." Toooo adorable.
Before ...Bf5, white could have traded the d3 bishop for 3 castle pawns, traded rooks, and then won the knight, in the last game. But Ana's attack lead to mate.
This is amazing! We are just getting into chess! A whole new world!
She just doesn’t stop
Caffeine is a helluva drug
I would rather lose a game than lose an opportunity to 'en passant'
im a 1900 and the only thing I could see wrong is just missed tactics, tons of missed opportunities but not as much blunders as i would expect
Damn. Those first 5 moves were all theory in the first game! That is insanely impressive for a 600!! Hopefully they weren't all luck based moves either. I'd reccomend NOT playing the KID at that LVL though; spend some time with solid openings like QGD to develop solid chess principles, and then start playing it. It IS a fun opening though, ngl
2:00 Wtf i didn't know you can take a piece like that. I've checked and it's actually allowed after the other player pawn made a 2 step move ^^ . Well i learned something lol .
My biggest struggle is the end game. For some reason i struggle getting the checkmate and not a stalemate
All 12 football players. Anna, mate, come on 🤣
This girl is caffeine impersonated. + Taurus Waterhorse. That is some energy.
That coffee is hitting. LOL!
4:47 can you or somebody else explain again why capturing the pawn with your queen is preferred over capting the pawn with your bishop?
The bishop maybe wouldn't be attracting the queen enough to come down.
because you’re making way for your queen to attack as well as protecting and also taking with the pawn is going to weaken the kings position we dont want that
1) you're making a threat. It means less options for opponent. That's good when ahead material. 2) you're trying to trade down when ahead. Your chance to win increase the less pieces on the board because choices become limited. Less chance you get surprise
What is happening at 1:55 peasant white is on d5-> it cross over c6 and takes a black peasant on c5... This actually happened to me when I was playing vs a 1500 rated computer.. I thought it was a bug.. is this a legit move you can do this if your in a cross situation? where you cross over as if the peasent thats on the left is taken.. can someone explain? I started playing 3 days ago, and playing vs 500-700 rated players So this video seems good!
Wow Anna you are traveling at warp 9! I love you Anna!
Thanks Anna Cramling!
After watching a few chess videos I think there is a correlation between talking speed in words per minute and chess ability!
anna do you do any coaching? or lessons
There are cases where I like double pawns. I could never understand until now why stronger players like giving me double pawns. I am all for it well sometimes.
I like your chess explanations, as I myself am a novice.
Nice video... best way to learn what mistakes u do.
Thanks for the video
@2:03 I'm new to chess but I'm about 680 ELO and I'm confused on how your D5 pawn was able to move to C4 while also simultaneously taking the C5 pawn.
It completely skipped to the diagonal without the pawn being there and played like a checkers move
Okay after looking it up, I guess that's what em passant move is and it's a lot clearer to me now🤣 I literally resigned a game yesterday after this happened because I assumed the other player was hacking somehow🤣
"How's your chess going alpine" lol savage.
2:04 How do you move your pawn from d5 to c6 without taking a piece ???
She did take, that's the "en passant" she was talking about. When a pawn moves 2 steps, you can take as if it had only moved one (i.e. you can "take" on the square it moved past).
Thanks Anna
I am about a 1500 online rated player. I blunder everything. My biggest weakness is realizing when I am in trouble. Sometimes it is a strength though when I go on with my plan and I am one step ahead. Now if I can only realize it ahead of time 🤔🤔🤔. Might put me at 1550. I suck at speed chess. I believe it is because I am self taught and have little if this than that tactics. I think that makes me a dangerous player though.
Why did she not take the pawn with the bisschop she would still have her queen and enemy gueen would be captured??
Damn I'm 900 I won't understand this
I don't understand why you didn't take the pawn with your bishop in the first game instead of trading queens.
12th man on the team is the crowd, so you're not entirely wrong. 👏
What happened to the pawn on C5?
Maybe you should drop back the caffeine intake Anna :') You're like a bunny om speed.
Chess has got talent 😂. Sounds like a good title for a new series
8:43
I would be horrified if I went on UA-cam and found someone had recorded a game I played with them online and pointed out all my mistakes.
Kibitzing is common in chess, backgammon and many card games.
Pretty helpful
There's only one thing I can't understand.. How was that pawn able to capture the black pawn ? It just moved diagonally to an empty space.(minute 2:18)
Help :(((( I don't get it
Look up 'en passant'
@@xRhychux Thanks bruh
Anna: What is a football team without 12 players?
Me: Non bought.
@@kennymitchell3020 @Kenny Mitchell Damn, offended much? Wont even read all you wrote. Just gonna answer the first sentence; yes, we all see she put up chess content. Aint nobody who said anything else.
And what wasnt clear about the joke? Was refering to football ref that's considered the 12th player when bought.. It's kinda obvious to anyone who's watching the biggest sport in the world. But I'm just gonna asume you havent looked at the worlds biggest sport called football, most over the world. And forgive you for not getting the joke and got mad at me for it.
@@Bawamba I guess I missed the joke I'm from the USA and like American football and understand soccer/world football is the biggest sport. I got thick skin so I'll apologize for missing your joke
Thank you! Grace and peace.
OMG Does she ever stop for breath? I had a headache after 45 seconds.
They called it the queens gamit for a reason!
...yeah I'm sure it was just because they loved the opening 😅
The thing about rapid is that less people play it compared to blitz so its very likely that these people were so much underrated than they actually are
Overall great idea anna in my opinion is one of the most creative chess streamers even though this idea is not new
That doesn’t make any sense to me
They called it the Queen's Gambit as a double meaning because the protagonist was a woman. The Queen's Gambit references first that Chess was the way for her to escape from her crappy situation, and second everything she gave up/suffered for her Chess journey.
Wasn't that very obvious?
so funny, you sound way more like hikaru in your old vids vs today xD
at 4:49 why not take the pawn with bishop and then is black queen attacks take it with white queen?
That’s what I was thinking
Cause she was a piece up
1.a3 , the miau opening ! ❤
en passant isnt forced, but be prepared for the brick
21:00 are bishops really better ??
1:46 LIES!! En passant is in fact forced.
This is the FIDE rule: "A pawn attacking a square crossed by an opponent’s pawn which has advanced two
squares in one move from its original square may capture this opponent’s pawn as
though the latter had been moved only one square. This capture is only legal on the
move following this advance and is called an ‘en passant’ capture."
If you really think en passant is forced, there is a serious flaw in your understanding of chess!
1:30 Any translation she stopped speaking English for me idk what she was talking about, anyways an en passant looks like a beautiful move there!
20:57 when she would have taken the knight there, wouldnt d5 be a free pawn? What am I missing there
isnt it protected with the pawn ?
Most 800-900 that I play are pretty decent. Not many blunders. Then again i am pretty bad so idk 😅
They took the rook? Panic mode!!!, might as well just resign.
I am still waiting for my game with you
26:35 isn't Kh3 is check mate in two for black Anna would be checkmated I'm so confused why no one said anything
It’s not
That knight is not free. Think about the taxes and the survival expenses!!!
can you make vid about defeating benoni
Heck yes 600 elo gang represent!
Hatte sich gut gewehrt mit 600...
If you play this video at 1.5x speed, it looks like Anna has ADHD.
I watched at 2x. I was getting worried she might have a slight caffeine addiction
god i love her so much i would od unspeakable things for her
What makes a bishop good or bad?
You may know by now but a good bishop is one on the opposite colour to your pawns. A bad bishop is one which is on the same colour as your pawns, especially if it is trapped behind the pawn chain (e.g. black's light squared bishop in the French defence).
En passant ;Ampersand
Check :Jack ,chuck
My subtitle is really weird lol
Wait.. can anyone explain what happened there? 2:01
I decreased a speed to 70%. It's still incomprehensible. The color of her voice is unfortunately impossible to change.
Anna plz play with me......huge fan of ur play
Dayum, I'm not sure if you're drinking coffee or doing cocaine 😂 Great video, appreciate the suggestions, learnt a lot from it.
Am i stupid? How come she can take the pawn on c5 with the pawn on d5?
It’s called en passant! :)
@@AnnaCramling How have i been playing chess for nearly a year and still not know this haha!
Beautiful chalkmates
New player here, on 7:56 she says "this bishop sucks" and suggests to exchange it for the knight.
Why is that ?
Bishop sucked because it didn’t have a good position, the knight was in a good position ( to effect the end game) so she exchanged her poorly placed bishop for the well placed knight.
@@jamesblyth4966 That makes sense, thank you
my mam is a chess teacher
Im stuck in 600's right now 😫
why do your opponents make terrible moves? my 800 ranked opponents are monsters
Aaye❤️❤️❤️
Can you teach anything else but the londensystem pls😅
800-1000 soon plzzz
