Yeah... This was literally "The beginning of the end"...….. Up until 2000-2001, Bangalore was still the "good old Bangalore"... the nice weather, the ability to walk the streets without being hit with pollution, manageable traffic., pleasant, affordable housing, even crime was not that bad. Those were the good old days, the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990s... Bangalore was a nice city, up until 2001. I think I started seeing the real downhill from 2001 onwards...…. all we have now are memories.
It's been 4 days since I left Bangalore due to corona cases and came to my native. But I am missing Bangalore like anything. I have fallen in love with Bangalore. And once everything is normal, will comeback to Bangalore. I miss you Bangalore 😭😭😭😭 Namaskara Bengaluru, namaskara kannadigas, jai Karnataka
Even Toyota Qualis and Mahindra Bolero is in these video they were launched in 2000. So it's 2000 or 2001 video. private vehicles still carrying black number plates.
When I was 10 years old :). You could still see the difference between Cantt. and the old City. Just look at the Attara Kacheri for instance. Sadly, this is all in the past and this city's beauty, cleanliness, greenery, water bodies have all been irretrievably lost imho. :(
My Bangalore took its downfall very badly it took a flip a 360 turn from 2010 a complete case of no turning back not 2000 or 2005 n all it’s from 2009 to 2010 it all started and smartphones n all took over AI took over and population increased people from all over came and anchored off over here traffic increased very badly, I miss my good old days the Golden era of the 90s those were the best days good old Bangalore was the best now it’s horrible
One thing is for sure that it was way more calm, peaceful, cleaner. There's a reason why it was called the 'garden city' of india. Big companies saw the potential in Bengaluru and set up here. Now the beauty has disappeared. I hope we take initiative in making our city greener rather than naming only a few places that's left with tje same vibe
MG road looks much the same as in this video, except for the metro line that has changed the look of the main road. Not much has changed, I remember I used to ride my bike to Higginbotham's in 2000-2001 often..
Don't know how many of them remember there was a auto brand called 'garuda greaves' that exhaust sound was something special, missing still many more memories of those days 😞
Yes now they give importance to person who is in online in Whats app or to person who is communicating in phone. They don't give importance to person who is in front of them.
Nope. Cinema billboard at 0:20 is advertising Vertical Limit, which was released in 2000. And all the private vehicles have white-on-black number plates. This was changed to the current format only in 2001.
And I could see old premier padmini cars and old 800’s and roaring RX bikes and black cover auto rickshaws nostalgic feelings and if the video captured a double decker bus it would have completed vintage Bangalore days☹️☹️😔😔.
No private vehicles has black number plates in these video. It was changed to white in Feb 2002. So it's 2000 or 2001 video. Roads are covered only by 800, Omni, zen, Ambassador, Padmini. Rarely seen newly 2000 launched Bolero and Qualis.

@@stevekrishnan7498 even till 2010 namma bengaluru was so good. Traffic started doubling from 2010 onwards

Bangalore even in early 2000s looked way ahead of its time as compared to some Mumbai or Kolkata or even Delhi
Very true.

Bamgalire in 2010 was perfect blend of both modern & not losing its identity, now its just mini Delhi, lost its charm
One thing to be noted is people don't had mobile phones, they used to interact and talk nicely. Good old times.
