i am hopeless at crochet and following instructions, and cannot understand written crochet patterns so was so happy with this clear and simple video. thank you Jeanne
Simple and easy to adjust. I have a 32oz bottle. I just added one more row on the bottom (two dc,chain, two dc, inside the V stitch; chain) and added more chains in the lattice part. Your tutorial was clear, great job. Thank you for posting it.
Great tutorial! If I may, I’d like to make a few suggestions! I know it’s difficult trying to record AND crochet at the same time, but try to keep your project in view of the camera at all times. Also, before you start recording, what I do is basically write out a script along with having the written pattern of the project. This way I don’t say ‘umm’ and or take long pauses, it helps me stay on track! One last thing; like I said previously, I know it’s difficult to crochet and record simultaneously, but remember that you’re recording a tutorial and in order to see exactly what you’re doing and to see exactly where you’re placing your hook, watch your fingers and keep them out of the way! Explain what you’re doing and where you’re doing it before, during, and after. Do it ‘with us’ that way a few times, and then off we go! Great tutorial though, it turned out super cute!
I was needing a quick bottle holder, typed it in the search line and yours was the first one that caught my eye. Easy to understand directions. Thank you. I made mine in my favorite color; red 😊
Thank you so much for this video! I was so lost watching other crochet videos and this is the first project I started without undoing everything and actually finished!
I wanted to make one of these for my moms birthday and i'm somewhat new at crocheting, and all the tutorials I watched weren't helping. i watched this and did it so easily. it felt like we were learning this together it was such a comfortable video. thank you!!
I just made mine following your tutorial and I’m so happy! I made it white for my light sea-green water bottle and I love the match. I made my handle longer so that I can wear it on the shoulder, but if I want I think I can tie it to my bag handles. Love it, thanks for the tutorial 🙏🏻❤️
I made mine brown , it matches with my water bottle thank you so much for making this tutorial. It’s been a week, tomorrow is my first day back to school and I was looking for an eye catching tutorial that will be easier! Thanks Jeanne!
A lot of people including me seem to have a problem where it's turning into a flat coaster shape instead of a cylinder. I managed to fix the problem by using a smaller crochet hook for the net part. I also did 5 chains instead of 6 for the net, but I'm not a 100% sure if doing it affected the shape much. hope this helps though !!
Thank you for sharing your easy to follow tutorial which I first saw on Pinterest. Looking fwd to creating even though some of your video was out of focus but enjoyed watching it. Have a nice day ⚘️😊 I have since crocheted your Water Bottle Holder. It turned out great. My strap I made long enough to go over my head. You crocheted 30 rows for strap but I crocheted 58. I shared mine on your Instagram page.
Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. I’m on my 3 rd sling . Mine get better with each one . Is the yarn cotton ? What size is the yarn ? I’m using cotton , 4 medium yarn with a H hook . My yarn calls for a I but I like the look better with the H hook .
Thank you for sharing this tutorial ❤. I really enjoyed making this project with you and its for my son. I never watched your channel previously but I am definitely a new subscriber.
Hey, great tutorial! I want to ask, if I made a bigger one, I’m adding 1 more DC row for the bottom. how many chain I should make? I already following your tutorial and that is 6 chain, it won’t shrink 😭 it just flat 😢 helppp
Thanks, this was very helpful and super easy to follow. Mine turned out pretty well and I was super happy with it (altho there are some areas that need some improvements).
I struggled with this to begin with, as I was working on the lattice bit it was getting wider not taller. I swapped and used two strands of DK wool instead of one, and it started getting taller instead. I think this pattern works best with thicker or chunky wool or two strands. The two strands i used also gave it a nice effect.
Mine seems to be going flat too. I wonder if when I finish it might not go flat. I wonder if you just have to put it on like you're putting on socks and pulling it up. I have yet to make one so I will find out myself. This is really cute pattern and I hope I can do it successfully.
May I also add, that you know your stitches, you are doing a Triple crochet before you connect to that last stitch, thanks for sharing. Your calming voice alone will get you many followers. Again thanks for sharing.❤
Reason for my questions on your yarn size and material … I want mine to look like yours . Your video is great . It’s just me . Takes me longer to catch on 🥴😊
Hi im a newbie and i have fine cotton here. I tried to do this thrice but i cant seem to make it stand :( it just stays flat. do you have any tips? would appreciate it. thank you
@@OnlyByJeanne immediately I made it 1 holder bottle in about 1 and half hour.... and I m so so so happy to do it. I m a very very beginner and I can follow you tutorial so fast.... thanks again.
I followed along with this but mine did not come out like yours and I have rewatched it and undone and redone it and it still isn't right! It got bigger and bigger as I kept going. The top ended up being HUGE. Any idea where I went wrong?
Hi.. If I'm using a bigger bottle, bigger in diameter, do I just repeat the double crochet for the bottom until its the right size? thx Great tutorial and pattern btw... Love it!
Love your tutorial, but how do I make the bottom circle bigger? I need it to fit a wine bottle, and my circle does not do that, probably because of my yarn. Can I continue making the double crochets in the chain-4-holes, or what do I do? regards, Maria
I did it because my water bottle is bigger and you just do the same as in the last row and it gets bigger! (so begin with chain 4 and then dc, ch1, next space and dc 2 times, etc)
Shelly Camper I think you should try one of the round coaster’s pattern then chain the same way you would with this pattern. If you haven’t tried that anyways.
Heyyyy, really like the pattern and your explanation but I wanna make this holder for bigger bottle how do I increase the size of the base ?? Do I add more rows or ?? (I'm sill a begginer) 🙈💜
Hi! I’ve been crocheting for about two years now and my best suggestion would be to make your magic square larger (as in do more rows before transitioning into the lattice part) That way you’ll have a larger base with more spots to put the lattice in later. Hopefully this helps! :)
I live ur vids but When I make the strap part u say to single crochet 4 then crochet one then to flip ur work.I did that and the strap was beautiful. ❤❤🎉
In case you haven’t solved your problem, I’d suggest to use worsted or chunky. They’re pretty thick, so you got sturdy down but if you want your net to look more delicate, you can switch to thinner yarns for that part. It’s pretty fun to try different combinations. Last thing, Idk where you’re from but you can try ask the seller’s opinion.
i love the tutorial but it was kinda hard since you were off centered from the camera so it made it a little difficult to see which hole u put the hook in.
I have watched this video like 10 times today. I cannot get past where you make a mistake. Ive followed every instruction up untill there ive pushed through and my crochet turns into a basket looking thing. Please re do this video

So easy
hey ! how many chains you did for the mesh part when adjusting to a 32 oz bottle?
@@yyikes9950 hey! did you ever find out how many? i wanna make this too but idk how many more chains to add for the mesh...
You so much because I have a Hydro Flask and it's 32 oz I'm going on a camping trip so I thought this would be easy to hold my water bottle♥️😁

Mine just lays flat, what should I do to make it "stand" like yours do???
Mine too. Would be nice if she answered these questions as well since plenty of people are having the same problem.
I want to make one of these. Did you ever figure out what made it flat? Was it the type of yarn or the crochet hook size? Thankd
How would I make the bottom bigger for a larger water bottle?
10/10 would crochet again I have a 16oz and I removed one stich and it fits perfectly
your tutorial is easy for beginners as me. thank you for your video❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just made one and it came out great! Thanks for the tutorial

Yes!! Thank you! Whenever I tried this pattern as a beginner it became super wide and did not work out for me no matter how hard I tried.
I'm having this issue too using arran weight annoyingly
I tried this on cotton yarn, the body part seems to spread out instead of vertical like your video tutorial. Not sure where I'm doing wrong.
Were you able to figure it out? I'm so sorry for the delay.
Hi. im having the same problem. where you able to figure it out? if so, how? :(
I have the same problem
Hello, I have this problem, can you please tell me what I might be doing wrong?
All I seem to be making is a doily that keeps getting bigger. Sigh. Now I have to search for a new pattern.
How come mine isn't going upwards but outwards? :(
me too 😭

This happened to me too! I followed the tutorial exactly and I honestly don’t know where I must have made a mistake
how many grams of yarn you used and what size of yarn is it in making crochet tmblr holder?
Why is mine FLAT LIKE A DOILY PLS? HAVE DONE 5 ROWS OF THE LOVELY MESH DESIGN. My yarn is a bit thinner than yours?
Before: she talks rlly clear and explains the materials nicely lol
Hi.. If I'm using a bigger bottle, bigger in diameter, do I just repeat the double crochet for the bottom until its the right size? thx
Great tutorial and pattern btw... Love it!
Try either a HDC or DC repeat, depending on how much bigger your bottle is! Thank you so much for watching my video
Thank you!! The triple crochet makes total sense.👏
Cute colors! Very aesthetic ❤️
Thank you, sweetie 🤗
I wonder why mine laid flat...? Lol
Is there a written pattern I like watching these videos and crocheting but personally I love following written patterns☺️
So beautiful....😊😊👌👌
Thank you 💞 I really love the pattern, I took some notes and now I should be able to make my bottle holder 😌☺️
I want a clear tutorial of how it turned into that bottle shape from flat circle. Can u please do that.
Love your tutorial, but how do I make the bottom circle bigger? I need it to fit a wine bottle, and my circle does not do that, probably because of my yarn. Can I continue making the double crochets in the chain-4-holes, or what do I do? regards, Maria

Would it be okay if I made it and sold it in my shop?
How would I make one more row around to make the base larger? Thank you!
Shelly Camper I think you should try one of the round coaster’s pattern then chain the same way you would with this pattern. If you haven’t tried that anyways.

Hello how many loops is there?
What size yarn did you use?
Hi Sami, I used medium worsted weight (size4) yarn. Thank you for watching my video! 💜
Thank you,thank you....!👍👌👏👏🤗🥰😘🌼💐
How much yarn din you use?
So helpful! Thanks for sharing your skills! ^_^
Thank you so much for watching my video!!
I got lost would you plz tell me how many DC and how many loops?
Can you please tell me what pattern to follow to make the base of the holder larger?
Chelsea Adrianna incase you haven’t figure it out, I suggest using coasters pattern.
What sort of yarn did you use for this? Whatever I use is either too thin or not sturdy enough 😂 maybe it's my technique
In case you haven’t solved your problem, I’d suggest to use worsted or chunky. They’re pretty thick, so you got sturdy down but if you want your net to look more delicate, you can switch to thinner yarns for that part. It’s pretty fun to try different combinations. Is that cotton yarn?
I used acrylic yarn in this video. Cotton yarn is ideal for a water bottle holder.

omg Thank you 😊 ❤️❤️
Obrigada ❤️❤️😘🌹🌹
Mine won't stand up its just staying up what do I doo
Thanks
thank you for the tutorial...can you make the tutorial mesh water bottle triangle....😍
Ughh this would be super cute but I use rainbow loom to crochet and I really want someone to post a tutorial using the loomigurumi technique.
Do you have a written pattern please as I find it easier to follow a video tutorial if backed up with written instructions. Thanks
Please what's the name of this stitch?
i love the tutorial but it was kinda hard since you were off centered from the camera so it made it a little difficult to see which hole u put the hook in.
Me: just go through . No ending 😂
Thankyou mam
Amazon is not selling these, so I'm here to see if I can remember how to do this...lack of patient now
Is it made with cotton yarn or acrylic yarn? Does it matter?
I used acrylic yarn but this pattern will work for both types.
