I’m thinking that the green over silver would actually have been an effective stop-gap camouflage, as there would have been vast conifer forests and probably many lakes to fly over. I’ve flown over Minnesota several times; I’ll bet the twinkling effect of the lakes made the silver practical. I love the video and think that the ice looks absolutely great! Congrats!

This is a superb diorama. First class attention to detail and superb finishing techniques.
As for the silver colouration you mentioned. I can see where you are coming from, but really, it’s not an issue and looks prototypical, nice work.

I've been looking for some good 1/72 scale figures. What brand are these? It sounds like you said "Peeto Production".
They're from 'PJ production', I forget where they're based but it's somewhere in the continent - some really nice little figures!
