how is it a pop ballad? I can understand if they like put mixed music background music to it or something. But at what point did it go from the anthem to a pop ballad? Yeah his inflections might have been slightly different from the original....but that's it.
man i dont know why we US tend to make the anthem so pop or give it another tune than the original. no offense brian is a awesome singer i just not agree with the idea of turning the US Anthem into a pop balad. but you've never seen Mexico anthem turned into a ranchera or maybe into a Luis Miguel song.
