I am (as we say in America) wet behind the ears when it comes to Japanese or rather ALL Asian rock music. My first introduction was Shonen Knife "Riding on a Rocket" (1991 ?). Then about a year and a half ago I started getting in it big time thanks to a couple of suggestions from FB. I have become a huge fan of a couple of bands and I keep looking for more. Band Maid, Brats, Moshimo, Scandal are some of the first wave of bands I found that i really enjoy. Gacharic Spin is a new one for me and now because of these videos of the Naon Yaon concerts I will search out even more new bands. Thank you and much love from America.
Great concert. However every one of those ladies should thank Two of the ladies on the stage, Kyoko Tomita (drummer with head scarf) and Atsuko Watanabe . Along with Kaori Okui, Kanako Nakayama and Tomoko Konno, (Princess Princess) changed the way the male dominated music industry viewed female musicians. No longer were they brainless, sexy little girls, but artists who wrote their own music, dressed as they pleased and rocked "balls to the wall". Long live Princess Princess.
ジャニーズやAKB,エグザイルばかりの音楽祭なんて見る気しない。こうゆーのが見たい。
