There was a huge ringworm outbreak I think 6 years ago and since then they require everybody to wear long sleeve rash guards and spats. Many of the young adults trying to make a career out of jiu jitsu come from nothing and all-black makes them feel powerful. It's a private business and you don't have to train here. All white gi's are to make sure everyone has a clean gi. I much prefer this then no-gi people dressing weirdly in all-leopard outfits, pink gi's, or LXB tough guy attire.
@@g3neriik901 You should express your individuality through your jiu jitsu game. You're more then welcome to join a fashion show and walk down a runway on your own time.
Don't kid yourself, if that's the mentality then all the spats and rashies should be all white as well to see if they are dirty. This is no different than the GB schools, it's a way of making money. In saying that, people wouldn't do it if the school was crap and I don't mind that they have some consistency, as long as the prices of the merch is affordable which by my own experience usually isn't. If I can buy a $30 rashie but I'm forced to buy your $60 rashie, that's when I have a problem with it.
2:48 wtf
I heard that too...
Semi-related, I think Cole got his shin snapped recently.
Beautiful berimbolo at 2:48

@@KevinClarkson93 have fun in your weirdo cult
individuality is through your jiujitsu game, not what you wear. this is why i don't take people who wear "tap out" shirt seriously @@g3neriik901

Does everyone there have to wear black? And why are so many people rolling in such a small space
Why why why why
Academy dress code
it's a popular place
Because there’s too many people at aoj
It looks like a sorta steange cult with dress code
Crowded
we’re on the bigger mat now 😁
Can someon confirm if Cole is really injured and broke his shin?
😊😊😊
As usual you cannot understand any thing because of the all black dress code, i really hope they drop this gimmick ffs
hard to tell whats happening when they wear those clothes lol
At least they’re not training wearing dresses.
Dress code, really a no good
place looks awful to train at....no room and everyone wearing the same thing....i'll pass. On a side note would love to see Abate competing soon.
I think he has a broken shin (I heard)
Im sure aoj is devasted by ur decision, hopefully they will recover soon from ur decision
