  • Exploring colonial places with metal detectors and reading the land.
Out for a good hike up to the top of a small little mountain we followed the rock walls built centuries ago till they ended. At the very top we could read the land and see that people had spent a lot of time here building the stone walls as well as packing down the earth improving the land. With our Fisher metal detectors we are looking for relics from the past and yes we did find one. Exploring and metal detecting old places like this with all the New England history is amazing and fascinating. Reading the land of colonial sites and exploring the deserted farms of New England.

Do you think the original person(s) became discouraged or ill and stopped work?

Have ya'll ever found items by scanning the rock walls? Seems back in those days it would be a good spot to hide/conceal items for safe keeping?

It's surprising to see you have found something that the loggers didn't try to destroy.

Charlie could have they used wooden pegs to hold the logs together on the houses way back then ? I've watched a few videos that shows them doing that !

Two missions accomplished. One: something that had to be done. Two: a button was found. Still a great journey for this Not Thursday. Thanks Charlie and Dame. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸

Do your detectors have rechargeable batteries? Almost every episode your battery indicator is at one third or two thirds. Just wondering if you carry batteries or a charger.
