thats cool. i do these covers for fun and put them out with the best quality possible for entertainment purposes. if i did a live cover without any effects, it would sound like absolute shit (sonically, not talking about my vocal capabilities) and no one would watch it. i dont have anything to prove to you lol
Oh no my mistake I'm not trying to give you crap about this. I'm just saying I've seen covers of songs with editing and effects and everything (to make voices sound higher) like Claudio used on "A Favor House Atlantic". I only made that comment cause a lot of people are commenting saying wow so good and what not when to me (and this is entirely my opinion) its just a normal voice with some effects to make it sound better than it is. Sorry if that upsets you.
its literally just my voice with compression, eq, and reverb. and by the way, claudios voice wasn't pitch shifted in a favor house atlantic...he sings it in a lower key because its easier to pull off live...like most high-ranged singers do. going through a whole set of extremely high pitched songs is vocally strenuous.
I understand what you're saying and I could be wrong but it definitely sounds like Claudio's voice is edited to be higher than it actually is in the song.. I know they tune down to sing the high notes cause obviously as you said they can't sing that high live all the time. As a person with a high singing voice myself, I'd much rather see you attempt this song without editing your voice rather than singing it like the studio revamped everything, buuuuut that's just me.
That's all I'm trying to get at.
