Im a Metal fan but there is something with this Omnimar that just gets me..
I'm the same as you but i've had a passion for Lana Del Rey after I got deeper into her music. Check out Omnimar's Out of my Life video, definitely my favorite so far! I do love my Russian friends Be Under Arms and Feelament and Blind Ivy as well for my favorite Russian metal!
It does seem to give me a lot of the emotion I get from metal, which is where I spend almost all my time.

I am also in this situation, more than three decades in Metal, but something about Omnimar ended up catching me, maybe it is because their songs do have a refined musicality, they do not sound like songs made for current POP standards, they sound more like songs 80's pop. And I can't help praising Maria Mar's direction work in their video clips, they are always a feast for our eyes.
It's like metal with the wrong instruments.

Ну наконец то композиция которую хочется слушать до конца с вокальной заманухой посредине. Для сравнения, композиция Forever - просто нереальное начало клипа и песни, а потом попсовое повторение припева. Я там только начало переслушивал, дальше неинтересно. Двигайтесь в этом направлении и станете культовым коллективом.

@@александраверин-д7ш у Омнимар есть песни и на русском языке, которые так же пользуются популярностью. А на счет всего мира... первопричина немного другая, связана с величием британской империи. Да и о красоте языка те же французы или итальянцы очень даже не согласятся :)
