    Did the salt water also act as electrolyte? If so, then Leyden jar is an early form of electrolytic capacitor

    you can isolate the outside of it so you can safely move it around if need be... I made one just yesterday :) Will do a bigger 800ml one today. Stay safe.

    Great video! Although, when doing it with your finger while grounded, you should use the same hand that's grounded, this will prevent charges going through your body past your heart. At these low currents it doesn't matter much, but just a good safety precaution

      Yes he did. It's to increase surface area of contact with the electrolyte to lower resistance
