- One of the most infamous games of the 2010's was when the second place Geelong Cats took on the Melbourne Demons in Round 19, 2011. In this game Geelong equalled the all-time record for most goals kicked in a game (37) and produced the second highest win ever in VFL/AFL history (186 points). Some standout performances in this game were Steve Johnson (7 goals and 10 goal assists), Tom Hawkins (5 goals), Cameron Mooney (5 goals), Corey Enright (36 disposals and 16 marks) and Joel Selwood (43 disposals and 1 goal).
I plan on doing more videos like this in the future, there's a few high scoring games in particular I plan on making videos like this on.

I watch this every time we lose badly
I’m a Richmond supporter so I’ve seen my team get a number of embarrassing shellackings, but this is on a bit of a different level. Melbourne are playing like they all have the worst hangover of their life.
Before this match most commentators thought that Melbourne's Rebuild which had started 3 years earlier was on track.
GRRRRRRRRR
Tanking was the talk of the day. Geelong were tanking, they could have got 40 goals if they were trying.
That center square should have had a 'ONE WAY" sign on it that only flipped at the end of each quarter. Comment posted from the Brisbane Lions dining rooms.
A decade later Melbourne win the flag
yeah i know right
And a year after that the Cats won another 💪
I mean, that year Geelong won the flag, then a year after Melbourne wins, Geelong win again.
Wow, the cats back in 2011 were pretty much the bombers of 2000. Poor demons though, at least they avenged themselves for their performance in last years prelim.

This reminds us of the war on Canada in 6969.
