Hey love your videos !! Can I ask what size is the canvas that works best for stickers/gifs? When I create them I always seem to have a faint black line around the edging when pasting it into my stories! Xx
I use a canvas of 3000x3000 px and 300DPI. However the faint black line sounds to me like you need to adjust the alpha threshold. You should see the slider for it under the 'transparent background' toggle when you are exporting the GIF. Hope this helps :)
I actually just use one of the brushes that comes included in the Procreate library when you download it; it's called "studio pen". What I did do though it make a duplicate of the original brush and tweak a few of the settings such as the streamline and I also adjusted the stroke take to be less pointed.
Do you have any tips on how to practice that type of drawings? Are those called doodles? I would love to make my own IG Story Stickers but I might first need to practice a bit the drawing LOL
I don't have any drawing video tips - but I love that idea. I have lots of newer 'draw with me' videos where you can see my process and how I draw however I love your idea of creating a video that specifically shares tips for getting started!
I also did some story stickers in procreate and it worked out pretty good but I have one problem ... is it only possible to use them from the iPad? Because when I send them to my iPhone and try to use them in an Instagram story the background is not transparent anymore but white .. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong cause on the iPad it works perfectly but there the story’s/photos are not in such a good quality as when I share them from my phone .. would be thankful for your help ☺️
Yes, that's because sometimes when you airdrop a .png to another device it changes it to a .jpeg file - which removes the transparency. My tip would be that when you are exporting your file from procreate as a .png, instead of selecting 'save to camera roll' airdrop it to your phone directly from procreate.
Did you make your own procreate brushes? I’m really new at this and when you do yours, I’m not sure what brush to choose from. Ugh! I did get it all to work, I just don’t think it looks as good. Hahahahaha.
I haven't made many brushes for illustrating, but I have tweaked lots of the brushes so they preform better for me. My top tip would be to adjust the streamlining of a brush as this gives you smoother lines and more control. Also, it takes time and practice. Keep going... we all start somewhere :)
There are a lot of brushes available now. You can download them to Procreate. You can check them ondigitalpencilmagic.com/collections/procreate-brushes-1
Yes! 🙌🏻✨ the process is a little different, but I have a few tutorials on my channel showing how I do it. This is the most recent one ua-cam.com/video/35oQnzUbea8/v-deo.html 💖💖💖

You're very welcome!
Could you share what brushes you use on procreate?
It changes really depending on what I'm creating - but my favourite Procreate brushes are monoline, peppermint and script brush 🤩
