Warmest March day for 53years but you weren't to know that the temperature was to crash back down to normal. That was a lovely calming Vlog and riding alongside you as you comment on the scenery and boats you pass. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed cruising with you. Thank you, Alan. All the best and bye for now. Stephen👍
It's been really cold today Stephen and we had snow for a few minutes this morning. I was certainly very lucky with the weather on the first two days of my cruise. The third day was dreary. I'm glad you enjoy watching and find it soothing, all the very best, take care Alan.
Really appreciated the map annotation to put things in perspective for those of us not as familiar with the network. Very nice to see things starting to green up a bit. It's amazing what a bit of sun can do to lift the spirits, especially after the long winter of isolation. I can't imagine why anyone would moor under the dual-carriageway bridge. Sounds absolutely dreadful. Just need to go a few miles down and can be in peace with only the bird songs.
Many thanks for your comment Tim. I was very lucky with the weather, had two glorious days and one rather murky one. Bridges can be handy to work under in the dry, especially this one because of its size. All the best, take care.

So glad you have been blessed with such good weather after not being able to cruise for so long. I know the Canal and river trust have a lot of more important works they are seeing to but but is not annoying when the spindly parts of fallen trees are left in the canal to scratch your paintwork and foul your prop. You had to wait a while for boats to pass you but it was worth the wait in the end, take care Alan 👍 thanks for the vlog
It’s impossible to guard against some vegetation/tree branches getting into the canals, so just have to accept it. I had two lovely days cruising with the third rather dreary. Cheers, all the best Alan
Hi Alan, a nice cruise for all of us. Thank you. It occurred to me as a I was watching the naked trees that if you turn them upside down you have a great design for a pair of human lungs. Our Creator God is full of intelligent design ideas. Here we have an example of the same design used in a similar but different ways. One system carries sap and the other carries air. They do say that trees are the lungs of the earth.
What an intelligent and profound observation, you must be a deep thinker. Glad you enjoyed the cruise, please look out for Sunday's video, even more entertaining. Cheers.
