There was an Isolation Hospital on the sea side east of Eastbourne. The foundations were there in the sixties when I used to fish there. It has gone since the harbour was built. I used to pass Tide mills when winter fishing in the sixties.

Very good, often passed this way on a walk from home to Newhaven. Did they ever build the footbridge to replace the foot crossing at Tide Mills? I remember them presenting the plans long before I moved away.

They got planning permission 18 months back but nothing happened yet
