The Spider-Society from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse are essentially a Spidey-themed TVA. One major difference is that they try to save dimensions from collapsing instead of pruning them.
Not really the same thing.. they are operating inside the timeline. The tva isnt.. the Spider-Man are just essentially doing the same thing Dr strange did. They are tying to prevent incursions. Same ideology tho.

All of the actors and characters in this show are fantastic. I really enjoy the on-screen chemistry between Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson as Loki and Mobius. And of course Loki and Sylvie...love those two!
And the Miss Minutes jump scare in the beginning of the last episode always gets me. LOL!

A lot of people complain about these TV shows, but I love them. More than the movies.
By the time Endgame came out, I was starting to get tired of the old "Marvel formula."
Whatever flaws the TV shows have, each of them is different from the other, and each one is different from the same-old formula they use in the movies. So even the weaker ones are a breath of fresh air.

About Loki shape-shifting into other genders: that is straight from Norse mythology. Loki did that all the time.
Do you remember that 8-legged horse that Odin rode in the first Thor movie? That horse is the son of Loki. Loki turned into a mare to seduce a stallion as part of a plot by Asgard to defraud someone who was doing work for them, and that 8-legged horse was the result.
There was another time when Loki complained about the double standard the Asgardians applied to him, and it was mentioned that he turned into a human woman and had human children.
So Loki was always extremely gender-fluid. Canonically. From the old Norse religion.

What's sad about Loki seeing the end of his file, is that he didn't die when Thanos broke his neck, it was with Thor holding him. Which means that the last thing Loki felt in Endgame was Thor holding him.

A change in the past doesn't change your future.
If ever something do change in the past, it creates a new branch thus creating a new timeline within the same universe. (This isn't multiverse aka multiple different universes... is not a thing in the MCU yet).
So in one universe there are multiple timelines. The TVA's job is to intervin whenever a change that isn't supposed to happened took place for example this Loki wasn't supposed to escape with the Teceract. So this is a different Loki which doesn't affect the Loki's MCU we saw until his death.
