Pain opd is nothing. Only giving pain killer and blocks. Moral is that an anesthetist cannot run opd like a physician. I think simple mbbs doctor can see pateint better than anesthetist. Bcs when u join any branch like anesthesia u will know only about that branch. U forgot all mbbs management of disease.. So simple mbbs doctor know all they can run good opd within 2 years of practice
U surely doesn’t know anything about cancer pain clinics then … pain medicine and pain opd is having craze recently …. and u said pain killer and only blocks ? show me which physician gives block for acute pain … imagine when the doctors knows to deal pain management and even emergency icu management anaesthetist is a clinical physician … so verify once u degrade someone’s profession
During my mbbs days I thought gastro OPD s are nothing but giving PPI. similarly before starting anaesthesia thought same about pain medicine.Those thinkings are knowledge gap of myself .I think you have some knowledge gap.
