you actually missed the 4th crystal. from the beginning i was expecting for an efficient speedrun you'd have to destroy every one of them as soon as they show up. i was wondering if it would be possible to destroy it with only a handful of mutas, like a hit and run tactic to regen and go back hitting again. but then again the void crystal itself regen as well.
no i have not tried to beat my record recently, i did get notified that my record did get beaten. As for your question about 4th crystal, I just let it be, as the crystals themselves have dot, and without sufficient amount of mutas, i'd risk losing them all without even destroying the crystals. but then again, I never actually tried doing that. Maybe i will watch the one that beat my record and learn from there.
wish there was commentary or explanation on what's going on on every action............ i've never been so frustrated by a game like this before, never smashed so hard on my keyboard
what explanation do you need? the speedrun itself is, pretty self explanatory. If you are trying to just finish the mission you absolutely are not required to do it in a speed run style. If you're trying to replicate exactly what I've done to attempt the speedrun, I could explain further, but then the whole game is pretty self explanatory. Spread creep, macro hard, abuse teleport. You can just ask me what's going on and I can give you brief explanations.
@@iILuZioN oh sorry i didn't explain myself well : when i say "comments on what's going on" i was referring to the timing of things, namingly the timing of spire upgrades, when to build drones and how many and especially when to produce mutas (i admit even at 0.5x speed i still struggle to follow, your apm must be insane). i say this because i wanted to beat this mission without suffering too much and as quickly as possible since it's really not enjoyable for me, although i'm new to SC but this mission is on a whole other level of "let'em players suffer". I tried several times and very often got obliberated in a matter of minutes. By following your steps i'm able to complete it in just 11 minute on the 5th try ( massive thanks to you, hats off ); but i'm late on EVERY crystal except the first 2 so when i arrive for the rest 5 crystals i got decimated by those defensive stone things each time and i'm mad about it lol maybe i don't make any sense by making a game such a big deal. i guess i'm just a stubborn idiot XD
@@ritsukitogawa8267 no worries, and I get it. look I've played starcraft franchise for at least good 10+ years, so a lot of things are almost second nature for me. Nothing wrong with taking a game seriously, some people are competitive by nature. I mean if you really think about it, speed-running is essentially the end-all of try hard lol. Since you've already completed the mission, it doesn't seem necessary that I should explain what I did. But the gist of it is creating economy upgrade keep making muta spread creep be attentive with kerrigan for defense/offense. Glad I was of help to you for your endeavor. have fun and take it easy.
