People have no idea how much work goes in to the these tables, how many challenges and how many things can go wrong. Beautiful table!

That is amazing, well done, it's absolutley beautiful. One thing though, if you pour your epoxy on a bit of wood that is sloping down you'll get a lot less bubbles. EDIT - after watching the whole video, the hours, the dedication, the skill, it's off the scale, this isn't a table, this is a wonder of art that you look at & see hte most amazing images in your mind. I'm blown away.

Hi, I made about 250 Redwood Burl Root tables in the 1970s into 80s. I wore a dust mask that whole time and still got sensitized to the toxic dust. Please wear a mask before you ruin your health ! I'm not being critical, just concerned. Soren Svedvik

No you don’t. Find a place that will plane your slab. They don’t charge a lot. You also need a router, grinder, circular saw, track, mallet, belt sander, orbital sander, etc. no where near $50k. Even if you used a router to plane it you can build a track for it.

Can you use that resin to mould a perfect clear cylindrical tube of specific thicknrss and width to hold gases like helium, neon, and argon at specific density/pressure and proportions??? Or, infuse it with finely ground powder of certain gemstones, evenly distributed, at a certain ratio of powder to resin, and mould a solid cylindrical tube of certain length and width? And will light from a "cage" of inward directed LEDs pass through it without too much deleniation of light transference??? Will it stand up to certain levels of heat without melting or shattering??? I'm just asking questions.🤣🤣🤣

I so want to get into these epoxy creations. I have a timber yard down the road I can buy the would from at very reasonable rates. I would want to do similar size for dinning area as first project 😬 unadvisable im sure. The thing that stops me… I presume you wu,d need and indoor space for Finnish or can you get away with it if lots of polish and finish. I would just go for black or almost black for this reason
