Thanks Kerry, I've listened to Rick many times and I never tire of hearing what he has to say, there are always hidden nuggets if you listen carefully ! 👍
Exactly Rick, Im remembering my parents buying a home at 12.9% interest, waiting overnight in a car for 10 gallons of gas and my father being happy to make 4.25 an hour. Their first home was a 3/1 at 15,000. They could barely afford it and couldnt get the roofing materials when the roof was leaking. My mother grew her garden so we had a lunch. Bell peppers wasn’t really a great snack for starving children. My grandmother always said to learn to grow potatoes. I am seeing why there were hoarders during/after these periods.
Interesting - but today minimum wage $7.35 an hour, average home price $300,000. Wage less than 2X, house 20X in price. Today's solution forget car and family if you want house, actually forget the house as well.

Increasing inflation will end Comex price dumping as big money comes in and destroys short positions allowing the Silver price to rise dramatically within the next 6 months.
Greetings from deep in the Natchez Trace forest... hoarding gold and silver as best I can I keep it down by the hog pens and I let the goats range free.. Hello Rick, I learn when I listen to you...
Question for Rick Rule: Do you really think that the central planners will let asset prices fall for long enough for anyone but their closest friends to scoop up the deals? In other words, are we still in the same world as we were 15 years ago? I don't think so. Seems likely, that we just continue steadily on to a hyperinflation collapse.
It's a very good point you make Jebbuhdiah Dean, but with great respect, the flaw in your argument is that you suggest that central planners have 'control' of the markets, or that they can exert any kind of influence that resembles 'control'. When the general public loses confidence in the market, and when investors are getting margin calls, they have no choice but to sell, and the avalanche has begun. Watch this space.
It is amazing how so many billions of people in the world watch their savings milled instead of buying real gold or silver that cannot be printed and mocked at thieves.
I'm not sure if you're still with Sprott, but either way, considering your copper expectations, is Sprott going to have a copper ETF like phys and pslv?

Series of Evergrandes is in cascade effect, entire Chinese housing market has stalled, may well fall. Dozens of firms have reported inability to pay next months bills, some ave even closed their doors.
I disagree, china places cadres within some of the larger companies to monitor actions of businesses. They were already aware of the problem hence they implemented credit control on property developers to curb speculation n cool the market but ended up triggering this "crisis". Several months prior Evergrande was listed as one of the top companies with critical concerns. I believe the political elites have a close hand on the pulse.

8:00 no. The digital Yuang will be backed in crypto (Bitcoin). Bitcoin’s network effect is as good as gold and can be expanded and contracted to increase control or increase value at will. They will soften to bitcoin when the west bans it from banks to prevent capital flight chase out good money with bad. China will see this as an opportunity to capture Bitcoin’s network to float the yuang as a competing reserve currency
As I listen I hear all of these historical events repeating themselves and the explanation of how and why these events occur but, one thing through all of these posts not specifically to this one is that there is no resolve, Which is indicative that the gangsters of all societies have not yet decided who is going to be the winner of the spoils. Economy collapses are not an accidental event they are designed to bottleneck into a crisis to gain further wealth from the people of that society. This is not something new and it's directed at England for England is the one who stole the gold off of the land of America outside of the land and the resources and they're the propagators of the Fiat system, Or should I say Europe because specifically it always leads back to subservience of Rome.
