Inns of Court is one of the nicest parts of central London, virtually tourist free thank goodness. Unfortunately you walked past the entrance to New Square at the start of the video, possibly the most beautiful square in London. Interesting to compare the warmth and humanity of the old sections with the cold and inhuman modern area, so much for these architects who think they know it all but in fact know f**k all. -lol
I love that you do walks away from the obvious attractions of the West End, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Leicester Square, etc. At the back entrance to Ede & Ravenscroft in Star Yard is a real hidden Victorian gem. Here stands a Public Urinal of the Parisian-styled variety dating back to 1851. It's no longer in use, but privately owned.
Hi John, I've also done some obvious attractions haha. But I am trying to visit a variety of different places. I thought the box in Star yard was a bicycle shed. I wish the toilet became public use, it is in a convienent place before catching the tube after drinking in fleet street.
Sanpo Stroll It was in public use until the 1980's. You will have to go back and look at it with fresh eyes, now you know it's history. This applies to a lot of London, once you learn about its history, it becomes a lot more interesting.
Love your videos, so interesting with captions but being in white letters they do blend into a light background making difficult to read. Perhaps darker Letters?
Hi Peter thanks for your suggestion. I have changed the caption in later videos, the text is larger and on a darker background. Please check some of my later videos and let me know what you think.
Hi!
I work at Bird & Bird! Was good to see it after 6 months of working at home. Thank you so much for the video 😊
