B G I'm itchy just watching this. Sad part is I actually know of 3 people who live like this. No, they don't have bed bugs but their house is freaking nasty. I'm Asian so I take off my shoes when I'm inside the house. When I visit their house, only when I absolutely have to be there, I keep my shoes on as it's a complete mess.

Well many homeless people live on the street , and streets are often cleaned depending where you live...but i can tell you for sure , if I'd have to choose between a new bed in the middle of a clean street in germany and that bedbug infested hellhole... Id choose the middle of the street.

-healthy fresh air
-clean sleeping place and surroundings .
Negative:
-Noisy cars , usually not many during the night.
-people can steal from you while you sleep , but that's uncommon in germany.

Cory Bauer Both choices are great. Petrol burns quick while diesel burns slower. However, a favorable fuel will be petrol in this case because diesel can create too much smoke and bother neighbors.
As a forensic investigator I would go with jet fuel. Burns quickly, leaves nothing behind, and destroys almost all incriminating evidence. Would also destroy the bugs. Hopefully.

Rags soaked with boiled linseed oil in a pile will do it. It heats up and ignites. Just remember to have some wood handled tools near by to explain that you coated tool handles with it. Not gonna get charged for a accident or stupid mistake.
I can still remember that bed bug spray odor to this day. I had an infestation about 9 years ago. Worst thing I've ever experienced. I don't know how they arrived, but when they left, I know they took a small part of my sanity.
I had bed bugs before too. They smell similar to that Hot Shot Bedbug and Flea spray. I didn't have them as bad as this video, though. Me and my family had to get rid of alot of things. I had a box full of some stuff under my bed and I had to get rid of 95% of the things in that box because of bedbugs. We also had to get new mattresses and I had a bunk bed my dad had to get rid of because it was invested with bed bugs. Damn bed bugs! I never want those things again!

@@purpleicecreamtruck5414 You should try Hotshot Bedbug bombers. You can get them at the store. You have to be very careful when you sit them off though and you have to leave your house while they're going off. When my family had them we had to leave for 2 and a half hours and when we got back, we opened up all the windows so it could air out. Also try ordering some peppermint spray off Amazon. Bed bugs don't like peppermint and will stay off beds. At least, they're supposed to stay off beds if they smell peppermint. They also don't like lavender scent.

Cleaning has nothing to do with it.
Cleaning has plenty to do with it! You have to clean and keep your house orderly(not like a hoarder) in order to be able to actually see them. If you end up getting them because it obviously starts out with just a few then spreads. You can get them even if you are a clean person or you're a minimalist and barely have any furniture in your house but if you dust, mop, sweep, keep clutter to a minimum, change your linens constantly you will be able to see them and not let the infestation get bad.

When I was a boy, bed bugs were an urban legend to me. People used to say "Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite." I didn't learn that bed bugs were actually real until 2011, when they started being on the news a lot.

I travel for work and spend probably 250 nights a year in hotel rooms. It doesn't matter if it's the Four Seasons or Motel Six, you can get bed bugs at ANY hotel, motel. Be aware of that and pull the sheets and mattress covers back to check for the little bastards before you put anything on that bed. They love to travel! I've got em before a couple times, and when I got home, had my wife waiting with a plastic trash bag for the suitcase contents that went right into the washing machine that was all ready with boiling water. As for me, I stripped down naked right there on the front porch and ran for the hot ass shower. Suitcase, trashed. Bedbugs ain't no joke people, don't let em in your house or it's gonna cost ya!
As someone who works at a hotel and has our exterminators there twice a month. One of them has informed me that although hotels/motels are common.... you wanna know where the most common place is?
Airports. You got other people's luggage with yours who you have no way in knowing If they brought their bed bugs from their home with them or not
IF A PERSON TRAVELS ALOT, THEY CAN'T AFFORD NEW LUGGAGE EVERY WEEK. HELL, ONCE A MONTH IS PUSHING IT! LOL.
They make cases you can put your luggage in that heats it up and kills anything inside so you don't take it home with you. If you travel a lot it will save you a fortune. Look into it.

You might want to remove the outlet covers too just so the guy can dust inside them. Bombs arn't going to do anything besides chase them so I wouldn't set them off.

This is so sad. The man who was sleeping like this for years is obviously in some sort of mental state (depression, anxiety, or some other ailment) preventing him from even handling this issue in a rational way. I used to do pest control. Some people just live this way. It's horrible and gross and disgusting but that's the way they choose to live. That was a bad infestation, I saw the same thing with roaches. It looked like something out of a horror movie. Every time I went on a roach or bed bug call I would tape my pant legs shut and spray my shoes before going in. I was glad I did on several occasions.
It seems he just gave up. Even lazy people won't sleep in that kinds of scum. Thus them calling global pest solutions for a clean up.

We have been asked a lot, "how do you not bring the bed bugs home?" When we are in the home, the temperature is upwards of 140 degrees, so even if a bug were to get on a technician, it would nearly be an instant death for them.

This is a severe infestantion and even in that case they do not jump on you so...not so easy to bring with you.
Many exterminators spray their boots so if bed bugs try to climb up, they will die shortly after. Still, you have to be super careful flipping furniture as they can fall on you. Many techs also have a hamper where only their uniform goes & put straight into the wash w hot water.

Now, I've worked as an EMT and have just about seen all things disgustingly repulsive and it's never phased me one bit, but THIS is like a horror film! I remember about 1 1/2 years ago when I got bombarded by a Bed Bug infestation that seemed almost insurmountable until I bought tons of flea/bed bug bombs and drowned my entire home with the bombs which thankfully were effective. As repulsive as they are, Bed Bugs DO NOT discriminate when it comes to a home and feeding host. For decades, there'd been the stigma and negative stigma that if one has bed bugs, it was then presumed that said person and their home are filthy...filthy has nothing to do with it because whether your home is CLEAN OR DIRTY, it makes zero difference.
It was actually smart of Global Pest Solutions to use direct heat for where traditional extermination doesn't reach every known bed bug problem hotspot(s).

Bedbugs aren't like roaches. You can have a 100% sterilized room with no windows etc, and bedbugs can and will infest. Roaches in the other hand are attracted to bad dirty disgusting places.

My house just got over a bed bug infestation. THANK GOD. We threw away quite a bit of furniture. I sleep on an air mattress for now. I’d be fine sleeping on the floor. No blankets. No pillow. Just NO bedbugs. Those things are no joke. I can still feel the stings and the sleepless nights.. Pro tip: Alcohol is a cheap way to kill those suckers if your infestation isn’t too bad. Dries em right up.

I literally know your pain. It causes so much stress and it's really expensive to fix. I would never wish it on my worst enemy. We threw away alooot. We were told that they try to save most of the furniture, but we weren't taking any chances. One of the worst things that's ever happened. Thank God it's over.

yeah man. I had bed bugs about 4 years ago and had to throw out my captains bed. Worst part was I had no control over the bed bugs. Someone visited my dad while I was away and started the infestation. I was going to school covered in welts and they are so ichy. Dont get bed bugs.

He’s absolutely right. Silica dust & diatomaceous earth coat & kill roaches as well as bed bugs. It’s low cost prevention. Of course, if a tenant is a pig and never cleans or washes or vacuums & brings in bugs, then you’ve got a problem. But clean people shouldn’t get bug infestations if DE & silica are puffed into cracks, on baseboards, luggage, etc

i lived in a rooming house that was completely infested not this bad but to me it was horrible!! before living there i had never seen one and didnt think they were real. moved in paid 1st, last, and a month security deposit, had no idea.woke up the next morning and was covered with bed bug bites!! asked the " landlord" what he thought it was and he told me it was mosquito bites. turns out his room that he shared with his wife and 2 small children was totally infested. i mean BAD!!! they had them anywhere and everywhere....his sons bed was sooo bad( ifelt sorry for him) they made him sleep on his bed and his was probably the worst!!! thousands on his little mattress. my mother offered to pay for the exterminator. the guy came out and told the landlord that all the beds were soooo bad that they had to get rid of them and most of the furniture too. i could not believe what the landlord told the exterminator.... he said "what are we supposed to sleep on? we can't do that" my mother offered to buy new mattresses for them..... his response " they don't bother us, we never get bit" the exterminator was shocked and speechless. on that note i packed my clothes left everything else and moved out.... didnt care about the loss i took, it was that bad....and they were such nasty people they flat out just didnt care.the exterminator left and called cps, and they lost there kids over it.....sad.....how can people live like that!?!? COMPLETELY DISGUSTING

I had to deal with Bed Bugs for close to a god damn year. A YEAR. My mother just thought they were regular old bug bites. It started on the couch in my house. I’d sit on it a few hours then notice that I got a few bites. After a while I found a small brown and round thing crawling on it (my couches were brown so it was hard to spot) IMEDIATELY I killed the fucker and looked up small brown bugs. It was then I realized we had fuckin BED BUGS.
We got rid of those couches. Spent around 30 bucks on bug killer for those fuckers. Best 30 bucks spent. 2 weeks later we thought the bastards were gone. BUT IT DOESNT END THERE. NOOOO.
THE FUCKERS MOVED TO MY BEDROOM. I REPEAT. MY BEDROOM. NO WHERE ELSE. I SPENT A COUPLE WEEKS TELLNG MY MOM THAT THEY WERE BACK. SHE DIDNT BELEIEVE ME UNTIL THE BITES SHOWED.
WE SPENT WELL OVER 200 BUCKS ON KILLER SHIT FOR THIS INFESTATION. AND IT NEVER WENT AWAY. I’D THINK I WAS SAFE, BOOM BITES AGAIN. Around 9 months in, we decided to say FUCK IT and bring our caroseine heater in. DIY expensive as fuck heat treatment. Kept that fucker in the sealed room for half the day, gettin around 150 in my room. Kept it blocked off with a towel. IT FUCKIN WORKED.
BUT NO. IT DIDNT END THERE. 3 weeks later I noticed I was coming back from my fathers house with bites. Imediately I told my father bug bomb my room. He’s spent over 80 bucks on stuff for these fuckers. But as of right now, i’m still terrified of sleeping in my own room at his house. I stole my brothers old room. So far, no bites. Been about a year since I got rid of the fuckers. AND I KNOW EXACTLY HOW WE GOT THEM TOO. My MOM brought them home from the nursing home. TURNS OUT. One of the rooms had a BED BUG INFESTATION. FUCKING HELL.
Anyways. When you get beg bugs. Grab the nearest portable heater. Block off the room. Heat that fuckin place up to around 150 for a good 6-7 hours. Make sure the fuckers are dead.

Portable heater works wonders my friend. It works wonders XD That and this huge as fuck yellow bed bug killer jug at Tractor Supply or Norbies... Whatever one it was it worked amazingly to kill them temperarily for a few weeks till we used the heater. XD
