Part of me thinks this is an obscure Bemani (or Bemani-esque) song from Japan, because it sounds like something that would be featured on Dance Dance Revolution. Not to mention that there a shitton of Japanese music pre-2010s that do not get pirated or even a digital release. Of course, it could just be a rare Eurodance track like Compusex (Is This Love?)
I care about this song more than EKT. It sounds amazing and I could only imagine it being extremely popular in the 90s/2000s era and playing at clubs. (Also, EKT is overrated and way too wanted, so that’s to answer the question)
I think this is a house song from the 90s, in which a young black woman about 30 talks about her desires to be a lady for someone, in order to make sure that the person loves him and the woman in the song Reciprocates
You know that I love you And I just don't know What I can do You break my heart in two I wanna take you in my arms When I'm feeling done tonight We're gonna chill in tonight/alright Stop making me cry In my heart I never let you down Always by sight
reminds me of the pigcasso / two dudes skating song "the hustler (disco frisco mix)". not even that theyre super alike but they have this specific quality to both of them that i cant quite describe
timeline rn: pilo uploads the song to watzatsong in 2023 under the name ''this track i think is from the 2000's if you know the name thanks in advance'' pilo has been contacted, but is not giving a longer snippet, or additional info,
Okay, but to me, it sounds like it could be some sort of duet possibly. Like some dude getting onto his girlfriend for cheating. And her possibly playing the victim
I said duet. That means when TWO SEPARATE SINGERS sing together. Also, changing tempos and beats isn’t uncommon. Listen to almost ANY theatrical song, you’ll see what I mean. Plus, this is just my opinion.
@@RinTheCool its not even just the beat, it is the entire song, different instruments, different key, different chords... what clues you into them being related in any capacity in the first place other than just "it sounds like it could be some sort of duet" when even the lyrical themes dont line up
The fact that ekt was solved before this is crazy
this excerpt was posted not so long ago
We even got the longer sample of this
goteem

watzatsong is why we dont have the full song or a longer snippet because they limit uploads to 30 seconds
@@qwertyasdfghjklzxcvbnm YOU FOUND THE SONG?
Even though I don't think the song is EKT, I'll still listen to the full when it gets found.
Oh I’m gonna be listening to the full on loop for like a year man
We were blessed with a short 30 second clip for one reason… To turn it into a ringtone
we got a 1:06 version recently
First we got EKT, then Digital Girl, and now this
The real question is which is the best one?
(Hint : This one 😭)

its definitely not japanese
I’ve heard this song in a movie that’s all I gotta say and I’m being fr I I vividly remember
It was a movie from the early 2000s

I swear I’ve heard this
Seems to be a 90s house/dance music.
my pet alien knows this song it was on the radio in 20XX
People say it sounds like EKT and I can kinda hear it.
Maybe the singer is Robert linn but very Hard or strange for it can be“it can be thb"
Btw this song sounds like to be the same type of music as EKT of 80s-90s
but we don't know if Robert Linn had any unreleased demos?@@210GEROTI2-pk8rb
EKT and this are two separate styles of music. EKT is 80s new wave/synthpop and this is 90s house/techno
Because the eras are close together (imo)
I feel like I've heard thisss
its very generic but maybe!
Sounds newer than the 60s imo
