I've always liked solar-powered garden lights. They give a magical atmosphere in the late evening and at night. I used to buy them on Ali Express or in garden stores, but now they are freely sold at Fix Price and are 2 times cheaper.
When I decided to buy flashlights there for the first time, I was a little afraid that the quality would be poor. Then I bought 3 lanterns in the shape of a ball. And now it’s season 5, and they are still shining, only the brightness has become less. They work every day, both winter and summer. We went through frost, rain, heat, so that they justified themselves a long time ago, I didn’t throw money away. Since then, every season I buy these lanterns of different shapes; I have them all over my garden.
At the checkout, I always ask you to check the lamps for serviceability. The seller unscrews the cap, and inside there is an OFF and ON switch, moves it to the turn on mark and the flashlight lights up.
Such lamps can also be used by those who live in an apartment. They will decorate a window sill or balcony. For example, a lamp can be attached to a candlestick or attached instead of light bulbs to decorative sconces or a chandelier. And you have free mystery lighting.
Here's what I did this time:
I made the decor using a plastic bottle.
- I cut out a petal template from paper.
- I cut the bottle and cut the leaves.
- The edges of the petals melted with a candle flame.
- I sawed off the neck with the cap from the bottle. I glued the petals to the neck with hot glue.
- I cut off the bottom of the bottle and made a hole inside with a soldering iron so that the neck would go in there.
- I threaded the flower into the bottom, screwed the lid on the back side, and it turned out to be a stand.
- I disconnected the lamp from the leg and inserted it inside the flower.
- The lights emit warm light in pitch darkness and carry a special atmosphere of a fairy tale.
This is truly a decoration for the garden and home.
